Severe Endo and Zoladex

Hi everyone!

After many years suffering with very heavy and painful periods I had a laparoscopy 3 weeks ago. The diagnosis was severe endo and I was told I would need to have a second major surgery and go through "induced menopause" injections for 6 months before they do the next surgery.

I have always reacted really bad to hormone treatments. I have only been able to take the pill for 2 months in a row as it really affects my mental health. I am terrified to have to go through this injection treatment as I do not think I could cope with side effects.

Has anyone been in the same or similar situation and has been able to have a second surgery without the injections?

I still have not had my follow up appointment with my doctor but I want to be prepared for that appointment and would love to hear from your experiences.

Thanks a lot!!!
