Should Early Use of Chemotherapy Be Avoided in the Treatment of Metastatic Prostate Cancer?
On the other hand, chemotherapy is more toxic than ARPI due to severe adverse events, such as
neutropenia
, febrile
neutropenia
, alopecia, and neuropathy. Thus, patients tend to prefer ARPIs than chemotherapy.

Neutropenia with venetoclax. Give me information.
I am taking venetoclax, and after inoculating up to 400 mg, I reduced the dose of venetoclax to 200 mg due to
neutropenia
. Even so,
neutropenia
did not improve, so I stopped taking the drug and injected G-CSF.

Neutropenia as a side-effect of Covid vaccine
Have you managed to recover from
neutropenia
and return to a non-neutropenic state? As I have been severely neutropenic for 6 months now, I am losing hope of ever returning to my non-neutropenic former self. Jackie

My Jevtana/Carboplatin results to date. Plus participation in Bipolar Androgen Therapy testing
In our experience, some measures which can sometimes ameliorate toxicity are the prophylactic use of a drug used under the brand names Neupogen, Zarxio, and Nivestym to treat
neutropenia
(a lower-than-normal number of white blood cells), to prevent infection, (G-CSF), extending the duration of dexamethasone

Neutropenia/low ANC and Ibrutinib/BTK Inhibitors
Wondering if anyone knows what the usual treatment is for
neutropenia
related to ibrutinib. I know there is neuplasta. But I thought I saw somewhere that some just hold the ibrutinib for a period of time, and restart it without further issues. Thanks for your input.

Understanding your blood test
Neutropenia
is a blood condition characterized by low levels of neutrophils, which are white blood cells that protect your body from infections. Without enough neutrophils, your body can't fight off bacteria. Having
neutropenia
increases your risk for many types of infection.

Venclexta interacts with many meds, including OTC ones and those for AIHA
I will also add, we watched closely for increased Venclexta side effects like worsening
neutropenia
, thrombocytopenia, or anemia. In fact those cells are slowly creeping up towards normal. It was effects from too high a dose of the simvastatin that showed up in my bloodwork.

Chronic neutropenia and covid vaccine?
Has anyone had Pfizer with chronic
neutropenia
? Just wondering how people with low white cell counts have found the vaccines. I am in Queensland which has so far managed with low cases but the next state over is really struggling.

I had also been found to have low C3 and C4, low vitamin D, plus
neutropenia
and I have chronic oral thrush. During the past few years I've also been found to have various gastro issues, such as colon polyps, diverticulosis, small hiatus hernia and gastritis.

Exercise and weight gain
I've now got positive ANA and RNP antibodies, plus a stubbornly low iron, low C3 and C4,
neutropenia
, plus painful joints, fatigue, brain fog and other physical symptoms. I had IV iron in April and am finally beginning to recover my physical energy.
