waiting for a hearing test to check for acoustic neuroma
Hi, I’ve had hearing aids for 8 years due to tinnitus. Recently my left ear feels very different from my right. It feels blocked and very deaf. I’ve also had 2 episodes of really loud tinnitus that I’ve never had before. When the tinnitus calmed down I had a migraine later. I’ve been having more migraines

Hi, I was diagnosed January 23, I'm waiting for my next mri which will be in June to see if there's any growth. I'm currently on watch and wait. I have really bad tinnitus, sometimes I can't hear conversations due to hearing loss and really loud tinnitus. I feel at the moment that things are never

Morton’s neuroma pain or my RA?
Does anyone else have experience of post
neuroma
surgery, or burning foot pain with RA even if other joints improved? After having to give up or stop so much since diagnosis, walking is my absolute saviour.. I guess I’m concerned that the pain in my feet will stay..

why did I not go sooner
hi, I have a large (3cm) acoustic
neuroma
diagnosed this week. I will find out the recommendation in 2 weeks. I always put my loss of hearing and tinnitus down to stress. But then I started getting a fullness feeling in my ear and had a hearing test and MRI.

How to find a master of the cyberknife?
Hi all you fell AN sufferers (warriors), My vestibular schwannoma although small has protruded a bit into my porus (whatever that is - must look up) and the consultant radiologist says: offer radiotherapy. This info is on my patient notes as my apt with the ENT Dept is in June. I thought in the meantime

Hi So yesterday I’d never even heard of Acoustic
Neuroma
Now I know I have the condition and also that there is this support group for which I’m very thankful. I had an MRI about 6 weeks ago following a bad ear infection in January that left me slightly deaf.

my tumor came back
Hi I was wondering if anyone has had their Acoustic
Neuroma
come back? I had surgery 3 years ago and had my MRI scan 2 weeks ago. My tumor has returned. I can’t believe it. I’ve finally have felt better it has taken 3 years to get back to normal.

Cerebellar degeneration
Anybody else being diagnosed with cerebellar degeneration following acoustic
neuroma
neurosurgery? Had neurosurgery in 2018 and already some 9-10 months following surgery and rehab, my balance started worsening.

Eye watering
I had my acoustic
neuroma
surgery in 2018. I have been using Hylo Forte eye drops to keep my eye moist. Surgery was performed on right side and my right eye has always been good. But from past two days that eye is constantly watering. Does anyone know why?

Small Vestibular Schwannoma
On 12/21/22, I was sitting at home and my left ear suddenly began to ring. It did not stop, so the next morning I called my doctor and set up an appointment. He wanted to make sure that I didn't have a sinus issue, so he put my on some common sinus medication for two weeks and told me to advise

Migraines stopped after 42 years of pain!
In May 2022 I went to see a chiropractor for a
neuroma
on my foot. I was fitted with othotics as well. I am continuing treatments with the chiropractor. This doens't make any sense to me. Nothing else has changed in the last 9 months.

Radiotherapy Completed
Oh, what a wonderful morning... Yesterday I completed my 25 daily blasts of fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy. Woohoo! No more daily commutes to Chelsea Marsden. Can't say I've had any side effects so far, although my tinnitus seems slightly louder this morning while listening to the radio. And
