Interpreting my Saliva Cortisol results
Hi all, I recently posted to the group about some unpleasant anxiety issues I have been experiencing, which I now think is due to my previously very low Vitamin D levels (18.7 in Oct 2021, 35.5 in Jul 2024, and 60.4 in Aug 2024). I only started to rectify this in July with supplements and I am hopeful

PSA Increase after stopping Xgeva.
I’ve been on Abi for an about a year and Lupron for over two years. I stopped getting Xgeva shots due to side effects and the fact that the worst number on my Dexa scan was -.1. Soon after I stopped the Psa and alp both started to rise very slowly. Anyone experience this? MO is already talking chemo

Hello! My husband and I are waiting for his first Jevtana infusion. We learned today that his PSA jumped from 1.9 a month ago to 3.55 today (not had a high jump like that maybe ever?). Also learned he is castrate resistant. NP says Jevtana is the ‘med’ for this….sounds like his life is hinged on

Hi. My husband has decompensated cirrhosis. He is 69. He has been visiting St. James’s hospital in Leeds for quite some time for a transplant assessment. He has been trying unsuccessfully to get fit enough to be listed for a transplant. He suffers from HE regularly and really struggles to take lactulose

Masterful Overview of Dementia
Dr Robert Sapolsky just posted an authoritative and helpful talk on YouTube which looks at possible causes of Alzheimer's, prospective treatments, and practical steps to minimise one's risk.I found it a fascinating and entertaining video. It probably has some relevance to Parkinson's, but in any case
