I recently posted to the group about some unpleasant anxiety issues I have been experiencing, which I now think is due to my previously very low Vitamin D levels (18.7 in Oct 2021, 35.5 in Jul 2024, and 60.4 in Aug 2024). I only started to rectify this in July with supplements and I am hopeful this removes those symptoms with a Vit D loading and maintenance plan I am following.
One of the other things that was suggested was to take a Cortisol saliva test. I did this in Aug and the following were observed -
Sample 1 (06:00-10:00) - 11.90 (range <20.3) - Normal
Sample 2 (12:00) - 6.99 (range 1.6 - 5.6) - High
Sample 3 (16:00-20:00) - 8.58 (range <6.94) - High
Sample 4 (Midnight) - 2.45 (range <7.56) - Normal
Apart from doing all the normal things to reduce stress, is there anything else I can ascertain from these readings?
Thank you for reading!

Looks like your adrenals need a bit of TLC: lots of vit C, B vits and salt. Make sure all your nutrients are optimal. Try to go to bed and get up at the same times every day, and have a high protein breakfast as soon as you get up. The results aren't too bad, but could be better.
Thank you for the advice, as always, very helpful. My current vitamin routine does include C and B, and I'll happily do a bacon and egg brekkie going forward!!The sleep is going to be problematic for the foreseeable future tho, as I have a 6 week old baby girl to help look after.
Hiya! I obtained mine through a private gp who is helping me manage my thyroid condition however i have purchased the same test through medichecks in the past -
