Neulasta

I wondered if the Neulasta that I have on day 5 to help with white blood cell stimulation. I spoke with my hematologist / oncologist and this is normal. Just two more treatments and I will be done, for a while.

The Doc blames it on my Neulasta shot. They claimed it should go away in 7 to 8 days. I still am getting a lot pain. Has anybody had a similar experience? If so how long did it last?

Her oncologist placed her on Neulasta to increase her WBC which, because of its mode of action caused her extreme bone pain.

However Taxol couldn't be administered due to severe reaction. 18 days later CA 125: 76 2nd cycle April 13th: Taxotere and Carboplatin. 19 days later CA125=18 3rd cycle May 5th: Taxotere and Carboplatin with Neulasta OnPro (she was neutropenic after 2nd cycle) 18 days later ca125=49 Her Ca125 showed

I will need the neulasta shot after 2days of treatment to keep immune system up. Plus back on steroid day before,day of and day after. Really hated that I was so weak on those days. Sometimes I wonder if I did nothing. Or when enough is enough.. I know I need to stay positive.. just wonder...

Since I had a low WBC, they decided to have me have the Neulasta patch placed on my stomach. Day 5 I started having trouble breathing, couldn't walk up the stairs in our house without feeling I was going to faint, and pain in my left back area.

Hello Lovely Ladies, I had to take a shot of Neulasta since my Neutrophils were low before my 3rd chemo. I am experiencing knee and chest pain and am wondering if it is due to Neulasta or effects of chemo.

I've had chemo with carboplatin and neulasta which was tough on my body. I went to immunotheropy with Optivo and now back on chemo with Abraxzane. The cancer has spread to my hips and the pain is terrible to bear. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Also Neutropenia on Neulasta. I did every thing after chemo that I did before , I walked four miles every day and worked .thank God and my oncologist !!

I do get Neulasta day 2. You just have to realize everyone is different and go with what you get. I had a meltdown last week, I was trying to help my sister by making my spaghetti sauce...after chopping 2 bell peppers, I had to go to bed.

My oncologist of course wants me to get another Neulasta injection, which I will do but my concern is what's causing this to occur. She seems somewhat concerned.. Is there anyone who has had this experience and can offer some insight? Thanks.

I was also given Neulasta which seem to help. Tired and sleepy the last four days, the first three I could not eat or keep anything down. I am eating a bit now. Just wanted you all to know I am now on the journey, and praying everyday.....Thanks Kym

I took Neulasta jab on monday. On tuesday i wasn't well. About 5pm I got some trouble to take a breath, my chest hurt, shoulders, back. I felt like something is blocking me from throat down to stomach. It lasted 1,5 hours so we went to hospital.

I, also, get the Neulasta shot but after the initial 2 days post shot I do okay from it. I have already set up a relaxation course with my therapist and beginners yoga is due to start in Jan Merry Christmas!!!

She has changed my neulasta single shot into 12!!! shots given for 12 days between each chemo 😭 But that's not the worse thing. I found 2 days ago a little lump next to my belly button. I was hoping that could be scaring from surgery, even I didn't feel it before, and I'm sure it wasn't there.

I also got the Neulasta on arm at every round. I completed my 10th round of chemo Sept 13 2016. My PSA is undetectable 0.1 . I also get once a month a shot of Xgeva and Lupron. Ill be getting these till I guess they stop working. Whats next????
