Advice before next Endo Appointment
Hi, I’ve posted a few times now. I’m just coming up to my three month review with an endo and am looking for some advice. I saw her for the first time at the beginning of June when she confirmed a diagnosis of Hashimotos having had Graves as a teen. As I’d had Graves in my teens she was reluctant to

Was then told I had vitamin D deficiency and now that’s at 135. Was plodding along quite nicely then the tears and low

Is Metavive safe to take?
Hi all, I've never been diagnosed with a thyroid condition but I posted on this forum early last year as I believed I did have a sluggish thyroid, I had all the symptoms. Anyway, it turned out that I had iron and folic acid deficiency anaemia, with very low ferritin and low (but 'normal') B12. I also

Hi everyone, The good news is my TPO antibodies have reduced from 338 (000-34) to 28 (yipee, within range!) and my Thyroglobin antibodies have reduced from 2,784 (0.00-115.00) to 700. Turns out I married a covert narcissist!
So to cut a really long story short, I’m recovering from a
nervous
breakdown
a year ago. I’m still having panic attacks and high levels of anxiety. However, I was told by my clinical psychologist that I married a covert narcissist and I’ve been gaslighted.

The importance of iron
Hi All. Writing this in my capacity as a nutritional therapist. The topic of iron often comes up among kidney patients and here's why. The kidneys produce the hormone erythropoietin which stimulates the production of red blood cells and in turn maintains a healthy level of haemoglobin (Hb). Most of the

Wading through custard - latest blood results, please help
I've been treated for an under-active thyroid since 2008 and like loads of you, it slowly dawned on me that my thinning hair/aching joints/brain fog could be linked to it, even though I was on a heft dose of levo. Could someone kindly review my latest blood tests and let me know if I do need to go down

Seeing GP this Morning...
Hi, since I last posted I’ve been taking levothyroxine 25mcg and ferrous fumarate 210mg (twice daily for the iron). I had a thyroid panel done by medichecks and also tsh done by my gp the same day. My tsh is still hovering around 3 (2.9 range 0.24-4.2) and my ferritin after nearly three months of iron

Interpreting Blood Test Results - Help Needed Please?
Hello, this is the first time I have posted here. I recently visited the doctor due to poor energy levels, achy limbs, dizziness, breathlessness, restless legs etc etc. My GP did loads of blood tests but the only clear red flags were ferritin and Vit D levels. I've been on 400mg of ferrous sulphate
