Viral meningitis last month
Last month, July 2020, I was diagnosed with viral meningitis after being misdiagnosed with covid (by two different md). So it went on for about 11 days before being diagnosed at the tail end of it. Now, a month later I am still having grogginess and eye spots, major fatigue. Several other lingering symptoms

Recovery begins with one small step.
You have taken the first step towards recovery. You have decided to FACE the reality of your anxiety disorder. No more worrying that it's some life threatening physical affliction. No more telling yourself the doctors "must have got it wrong". It's anxiety disorder for certain. The next step is to ACCEPT

Seen a lot of posts by people with all kinds of side effects from this disease so I just thought I’d put this out here in case someone can benefit from it - wondering if anyone else out there has come across the People’s Chemist? It’s operated by medical chemist Shane Ellison M.S. who formerly worked

Mobitz ii Heart Block Questions
Hi guys, this is my first post, apologies for it being long, the paragraph below sums my situation up if you can’t be bothered reading. Go easy on me, I am struggling and wanting something positive to focus on. I recently had a 3 day holter for palpitations which revealed that I had occasional instances

Took the leap of faith 🤞🏻
After nearly 5 weeks in Af, had a telephone consultation with specialist. Prescribed Flecaneide 100 mg twice a day. My fear of this medication was finally out weighed with the length of this Af episode. Took my first dose yesterday and miracle of miracles back in sinus rhythm within 2 hours! Still

I decided to go there since its been a while since I went out to the public and on my way there I bought card to call a friend and I called him but he wasn't with his phone when

Apixaban and Dentist's
I am on Apixaban and I have to have a wisdom tooth removed. My Dentist is reluctant to do it without consulting with my GP. He has no experience with Apixaban. And is in need of advice with regards the stopping of Apixaban prior to the tooth removal. I cannot get in touch with my GP due to surgery

Pelvic floor muscle strain (pubic muscle)
Hello everyone, My nightmare started in September 2018, when during maintenance at the vessel I was working, I was asked by the pumpman to assist him in lifting a ballast ventilation head. I was inexperienced and I didn't know how much heavy it was. When we lifted it and tried to put it on our right

Ablation number 3
Had a call from cardiology office to quickly schedule tachycardia ablation. I’ve already had 2 afib ablations w previous cardiologist, which seemed to have worked. Never could get that dr to address the remaining tachycardia. Switched to a new dr and so wish I’d found him to begin with 6 years ago. Amazing

Just a quick update: (brief reminder of my Hx: diagnosis at 50...PSA around 8 (2018). Opted for HIFU to try and preserve erectile function. After HIFU had erectile function but PSA dropped then rose..indicating failure. In 2019 had Cyberknife...PSA was 2.5 pre and 2.4 post...but now in July 2020, PSA

Metoprolol
Hello everyone, I am feeling rather low and not very well. I have to take Ciprofloxacin antibiotic for a chest infection which has pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria in my lungs. I can’t take Flecainide as my pill in the pocket if I have an AF episode. The doctor has told me to take 25mgs of metoprolol
