Is anyone on high doses of T3?
HI! Am new here... I've been on 1 grain Nature Throid and 50 mcg of compounded cytomel for about three months. I know for a fact I respond terribly (instant weight gain, fibro pain, etc...) right away when I up the NT or take ANY T4 at all (only good thing is that my eyebrows start growing in, but not

Hypothyroid and headaches with alcohol
hello, For about the last year I have suffered badly with headaches after a few drinks. Just 2 vodka tonics will do it every time. I take Levo 62.5mcg and Cytomel 6.25mcg. Is it my thyroid, my meds. or liver playing me up? Used to love a few drinks, and cope really well, but not now. :0( Any help/information

Help with Thyroid test results
Hi, I would like to get some help with my latest Thyroid test results please. T3 > 91 ng/dl range 71 - 180 FT4 > 1.19 ng/dl range .82 - 1.77 THS > 0.076 uIU/ml range 0.450 - 4.500 My THS is low because I'm taking Cytomel. I want to get my T3 levels up further. Would it be a bad idea to increase T3 considering

Meds/supps schedule challenge
I need some help in planning my meds and supplements throughout the day. Can someone look at it please? My goals are : 1. Increase Cytomel dose. Which is better - morning or afternoon one? My cortisol is all day low, but morning a little higher. Does it make sense to raise the morning dose then? I can

Attacked by NOT my Endo over the phone
Hi everyone I just received a phone call from Endo (NOT MY ENDO) telling me I need to reduce my Cytomel from 15mcg to 10mcg BECAUSE MY APRIL numbers are bad (I did not ask for a phone call or even call that office) he stated if I stay with this dose it could cause heart disease (THEY ARE NOT CONCERNED

Metavive and Adrenavive - reducing dose?
I've been taking Adrenavive II (125mg) and Metavive IV (65mg) for the past year and doing very well. I'd come off Cytomel as it was too strong. Now, I've been getting slightly unwell and 'hyper' symptoms and headaches which for me are signs of overmedicating. There ARE versions of Metavive with smaller

I started taking synthroid and cytomel approximately 3 months ago. Started feeling much better last month. My t3 and t4 was very low and my tsh as well. Now my t3 and t4 are moving up to a better level but my tsh has decreased even more significantly. My tsh is 0.06 now. I'm starting to feel ill

Tired on Cytomel
Hi, I just started Cytomel. My doctor is treating me for Wilson's syndrome. My labs fall in the normal range but just barely in the normal. I tired a supplemental hormone she recommended but it made me feel worse. So she is treating my T3 only. I am not on anything else. My question is this: The

FT3 dropping despite adding direct T3 dose; confused!
Just received Medichecks report and finding unexpected results, all levels lower not higher, hoping someone can make sense of them, posted below. A month ago I added T3 1/2 a 25mcg tablet and reduced 100mcg Levothyroxine to 75mcg in an attempt to raise FT3, (concerned my TSH was already very low, and

Why TSH rises while on T3-only
After I wrote my last post I unfortunately got into the ER with multiple symptoms. The doctors there didn’t find anything life threatening, they didn’t know anything about Cytomel, or adrenals, or thyroid... I was discharged after 5 hours. The next night after it I got convulsions and shaking body as

NHS keep refusing full Thyroid Blood Test
I’ve now just rung my Dr’s for my blood results and for the 3rd time in as many weeks they have still not got my T4 and T3 test results despite me presenting with a 5kg gain in weight and a return of my symtoms when I was first diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. My Dr at my last annual blood test

Requesting advice for Hashimoto's
Hello, I stumbled across your website while looking for something else! I have Hashimoto's and was diagnosed with low thyroid back in 1984 while attending an infertility clinic; otherwise I may never have been diagnosed. I have been on synthroid ever since then but have still got many of the Hashimoto's
