Why might levothyroxine be a problem for some people?
Viral hepatitis, autoimmune hepatitis and
NASH
were ruled out with examinations. After cessation of levothyroxine in 50μg tablet form, liver enzymes gradually returned to normal. She was diagnosed levothyroxine-induced liver injury, based on criteria proposed in DDW-J 2004 workshop.

Dears, In November 2012 I was diagnosed with
NASH
. At that time, here were signs of fat on the liver and my enzymes were elevated 3-4 times . After that time, i lost weight and my enzymes reduced with time. I had an ultrasound with dopler on November 2014 and it was totally normal.

Awaiting first FibroScan
My liver blood values were okay, but one of the
NASH
blood results was high. I know I have had insulin resistance for as long as I can remember, but never took it seriously. I am 38 now and kicking myselffor not taking this seriously before.

My gastro has now confirmed that I have idiopathic
NASH
and this has been confirmed by a rheumatologist with interest in hepatology. Biopsy proven a year ago and monitored with LFTs and fibroscan to be
NASH
with mild fibrosis.

What can cause your ALT to bounce around within normal limits?
I have a liver condition (fatty liver) and possibly
NASH
and would like to take as much stress off of my liver as possible. I take some other medications for anxiety disorder, panic attacks and depression that I will never be able to get off of. They appear to be pretty safe.

NASH and Fructose/High Fructose Corn Syrup
I have a question or two regarding a diet that is helpful for
NASH
. I recently read that fructose and high fructose corn syrup can increase
NASH
progression. I confessed on here that since November, I have been sneaking a lot of cookies.

fatigue
I have mentioned this before but need some more help with this issue. My husband is on Zandopa and supplements and per a post suggestion, I added Moringa twice a day. I think it's excellent for overall health, however, it's not giving him any energy as others have enjoyed. He naps often...He has used

NASH....What the heck is going on? Can someone please help explain all of this to me?
:o) So, given all of this information, my doctor (PCP) and my gastroenterologist are both saying that I might have never had
NASH
in the first place but that they aren't sure.

The massive problem we are having is that my daughter's neurosurgeon has tried to get an NHS referral to Juluan

in Cardiff and because we live in Swansea he has tefused but would see her privately at a cost of £200 at the Bupa Spire hospital.

Liver transplant and MGUS
Hi all, I have
NASH
cirrhosis, currently well compensated. It was found on a full blood screen that I also (possibly co-incidence but maybe related to the cirrhosis) have MGUS(monoclonal Gammography of Unknown Significance). This increases the chances of getting Myloma, but still only 1%/year.

Test Results....HELP! I don't understand them!
At this point, my PCP said that I had fatty liver, specifically
NASH
as indicated by the elevated numbers and fat seen on the ultrasound. No biopsy. No elevated enzymes in the past. No watching the enzymes to see if they would come down, just
NASH
. I wasn't even having any pain or discomfort.

NASH and Epidurals
I have
NASH
. No reason for me having it, weight, drink etc. It's a really long story but in a nutshell I have recently had to have an epidural and pirifomis injection, for back and leg trouble. I received after being knocked over on my bike. Will these injections affect my liver.

Fatigue & supplements/vitamins?
Hi all, I've had Fibro for a number of years (although only officially diagnosed earlier this year), since childhood I reckon. For many years the main symptoms were pain-related, but more recently, the biggest problem is the cognitive side of the condition. It's ruining my life at the moment...I'm 23

NASH and Total Confusion! :o)
My internist has now said that she doesn't think I have
NASH
, as did my GI, my OBGYN and my own father who is a physician. What symptoms would I be having if I have
NASH
other than elevated enzymes? I am so confused. Can someone who knows more about this than I do, please help me?
