Why can't I stop drinking?
I was hoping to be prescribed
Naltrexone
but have to be abstinent first. If I could stop drinking I wouldn't need help! If I smoked there'd be no stigma and a range of readily available treatments. I never thought I'd be in this situation, unable to stop a harmful habit.

Has anyone tried LDN Low Dose Naltrexone?
Hoping that someone with autoimmune condition will share their experience with LDN. I have myasthenia gravis, Hashimotos and chronic urticaria. I have changed my eating habits (on autoimmune paleo diet) which helped a lot and switched from levothyroxine to ndt. However, I still suffer from fatigue,

Trying Fluoxetine(Prozac) for Raynauds
Getting muscle and joint pain, fatigue under control with Celebrex, Plaquenil, and low dose
naltrexone
. I also take a lot of vitamins and natural supplements. I tried taking a calcium channel blocker for my Raynauds, but it didn't help, and caused pretty significant edema in my feet and legs.

~Progress update on low dose Naltexone~
I wrote several months ago on a fairly controversial topic regarding starting the use of Low Dose
Naltrexone
(orally 0.5mg) which in a short time made me feel nauseous even on such a low dose.

Itching
I started colestyramine last summer,
naltrexone
was added later but I could not tolerate it. I was given Rifampicin at 150mg twice a day. The itch continues - yesterday the specialist upped the dose to 300mg twice a day. I try not to be a pain about the itch but it does bring me so low.

Please explain TPO vs TgAb tests
It was initially 134 and was able to get it down to 98 by getting off gluten and starting Low Dose
Naltrexone
. After being on this site, I asked my Doc to do the TgAb test and it came back normal. Any thoughts on why this would be the case? Thanks for reading

It's been a journey
Low dose
naltrexone
worked for a bit and then stopped helping. Saddest part? My 21 year old son just got diagnosed with fibromyalgia. That makes me so sad. But it's also renewed my desire for more information. I look forward to hearing from you all.
