Bells palsy
I am 14 years out of Bells Palsy. I went the route of valtrex, MRI, prednisone, etc. I had to tape my eye shut for 1 year and was out of work for 7 weeks. The things that helped me the most was cranial sacram work through my chiropractor who was very familiar with nerve issues and reflexology because

Now they say they cannot dispense 'Nasonex' and have given me 'Mometasone Furoate', which they say is

Viral Meningitis from HSV
Hi, I’m in the first week of recovery from viral meningitis. This entire experience has been a rollercoaster of emotions, and finding this forum has made a world of difference for me. What I thought was a normal migraine one day had me in the ER getting a spinal tap 2 days later. (Which I had to ask

Viral Meningitis
I had viral meningitis in July of 2017. It was caused from my genital herpes which I never knew could happen so I was very upset. Now I am just living with still being tired and sometimes pain, light sensitivity and headaches. I have read a lot about it and it said to rest but I have been working since

Non-stop runny nose & sneezing
I suffer from runny nose & sneezing all the time. This is not seasonal coz I started suffering from it since I was 19 and i'm 25 now. So far, I've tried all kinds of antihistamines and check up from specialists. But, whenever I treat my runny nose & sneezing, I get a postnasal drip which makes me cough

Shingles Pain and spasms
Hi all, I'm suffering with my first bout of Shingles. It is the most horrific pain that I have ever experienced. Started with pain below lower left rib. Felt like I pulled a muscle. Next day back and front lower rib on left side hurting and by evening one small itchy bump above and and a bit higher

Hello Asthma friends
Spring turned into winter with fresh snow on the mountains. I am aching a lot. Apart from all the tests under the sun, like coloscopy and immunology, things are better. I am tapering down the Seretide 250mg. They are not sure I have asthma. They think it is the dyspnea from the LAM (lymphangioleiomyomatosis

Finally might get better!
Phew. You may remember me from October and early November. I've been suffering a long exacerbation and been on steroids since 11th Oct. 2 admissions into hospital, came out 12 days ago. Still not better, but missed my consultant appointment while I was in hospital and got sent to the back of the queue

Viral meningitis
On 6/21/15 i woke up to a small blister on my bottom lip. This was only the second time in my life that I had a cold sore. So like the first time I went to rite aid and spent the 22.00 on Abreva for a speedy recovery. Unfortunately this time was nothing like the first. My lip tripled in size making

Thank you all so much for your responses which have given me so much support. AF is a very scary place indeed. I would have like to reply to all individually but I'm not sure if that is the correct way to go about things, so I hope another post is acceptable. Warfarin was mentioned by my GP but he

I'm back, what a waste of time at the doctors and job centre!!!!!!!!
At the doctors, he would only give me nasal spray called NASONEX and told me to see how I go on with that. Also he said that because my 2 curves are visible, that my scoliosis is not classed as severe, sorry its the other way round. At the job centre they were nasty but I got the advisors name so I can
