Hi guys, i have diffuse systemic sclerosis with lung fibrosis and I have just been started on
mycophenolate
and hydroxychloroquine. Has anyone been on these drugs long term, have they experienced any improvements or side effects on them?

Significantly Elevated LFT Levels
When initially diagnosed some years ago, I was given Rituximab, which was eventually changed to
Mycophenolate
Mofetil. Back in October 2018, under the care of a different care team in a different city, I had a PET/CT scan which showed "activity" around the liver area.

Mycophenolate missed a week
Hi all, Because I had to have my monitoring blood tests, my doctor wouldn't prescribe my repeats. My pharmacist said that they would be ready on Saturday (last), then said today (Tuesday). I have been without it for a week now. Do you think this length of time could impact upon my lungs and make them

Feeling Frustrated and a little worried so having a sound off
The med is
Mycophenolate
mofetil which is an immune suppressant, most usually used after organ transplants to prevent rejection. The story so far:- Order meds through the excellent NHS app and expect my excellent pharmacy to deliver in 3-4 days time.

2020..Possible treatment for Idiopathic Cerebellar Ataxia
They treated 22 PACA patients with an immunosuppressive drug called
Mycophenolate
, which reduces the immune response that causes the ataxia. This treatment is expected to prevent further damage to the cerebellum and salvage any sick cells.

PR3 level
I just started my
mycophenolate
and the rheumatologist said it takes 6 weeks to work and that even if the PR3 level isn’t coming down it doesn’t mean they aren’t working. Anyone able to confirm this. Thanks

Immunosuppressants and antibiotics.
I've got an infected wisdom tooth and when I mentioned stopping my
mycophenolate
because I have to take antibiotics both the dentist, and later the pharmacist said I didn't have to stop the
mycophenolate
. Now I'm doubting myself completely. Am I right? Thanks

Long term side effects of Mycophenolate in ITP?
So I’ve had ITP for about 2 years now. I initially responded to eltrombopag but it stopped working after 2 months. I was then on Romiplostim for about 7 months but it had to be discontinued as it caused fibrosis of the bone marrow. I’ve been on 2.5g daily of MMF for the past 3 months and it just started

I read somewhere that Tacrolimus and

Are there side effects on Mycophenolate?
I have been azothiaprine for nearly 10 years but my consultant has now decided to change my medication to mycophenalate and I am a little concerned about side effects as I have heard there are a few. I have had none on azo. Anyone on 50mg twice a day for lupus I would appreciate your thoughts?

Hi June 2019
I have brilliant makeup skills...as you can see, not swollen yet...before the
mycophenolate
and steroids took hold. The other pic is September the same year and that dress was the second one I bought in a week because I went up a whole dress size overnight, literally...
