Decapeptyl injection with Tibolone HRT
Hi there, I went to the GP for extreme emotions and pain around my periods, and severe cramps/bleeding induced when exercising. I was put on an 6 year waiting list (Northern Ireland) so had to pay for private healthcare to see a gynaecologist. I was given the first monthly dose of decapeptyl on

GP is trying to help but doesn’t really understand and still only goes by TSH. Do the hormones interfere with each other? I make

Oestrogen levels
I know this is a menopause question but I can’t find the answer on other forums. I have underactive thyroid and having tests to see if symptoms are thyroid or hrt/menopause The test for Oestrogen level shows 337 range refers to follicle/luteal phase which isn’t relevant as it’s def menopause Is 337

Levothyroxine and arrhythmia
Diagnosed with hypothyroidism in infancy. Been on treatment my entire life. Currently 200mcg levo daily. Last few years been having ectopic heartbeats and arrhythmia. Anybody else had this and is it linked to thyroid hormone treatment?

Should I sell and retire with PSA at 0.1 following 9 months undetectable?
Diagnosed early 2022, Gleason 4+4. Metastasis to multiple sites on the pelvis, no other detectable spread. Triplet therapy with ongoing goserelin and abiraterone with prednisone. Abiraterone is once per day with a low fat meal. Following nine months of undetectable PSA results, I recently received

Gynecomastia
Looking for opinions of best treatment for gynecomastia. I don't believe it goes away on its own after stopping ADT, agreed?

ADT - HOT FLUSHES AND CALORIES CONSUMED
I am 3 months into Lupron and coping fairly well, I think, with the side effects so far, apart from the Hot Flushes (Flashes). I do not have many during the day but they seem to come at night and can sometimes be really intense and uncomfortable. I have found that the intensity for me seems to be related

Decipher question
First post. Age 67. Unfavorable intermediate PCa. 4+3 in 4 cores/20; 3+4 in 6 cores/20. Simple cribriform. Some PI in 2 cores. PSMA pet scan shows no evidence of meta. .66 Decipher score. Decipher says that with this score, I have an 8.6% risk of metastasis in 10 years if treated with RT or RP

Platelets Dropping
Is this “normal” or any advice? Undergoing radiation since March, have 22 sessions done, 6 to go. Started Casodex in December to prepare to start Eligard in January. Radiation started in March. My platelets have been dropping. MO said could be due to Lupron and/or radiation. IMRT targets Gleason 9

PSA rising, rapidly
Well, it looks like my honeymoons of ADT are over. I was (and still am) on a tripple therapy along the lines of the ARASENS trial (Docetaxel, Lupron and NUBEQA) for about 2 years. My PSA started rising six months ago, at first slowly, but now very rapidly. It went from 0.04 to 0.05 then 0.17 (in three

PSMA-Addition Trial can give access to Pluvicto for DeNovo or mHSPC
The range of access to Pluvicto (Lu177-PSMA-617) radionuclide treatment is expanding. Great news. The PSMA-Fore trial recently showed that it iis very beneficial before docetaxel chemotherapy in mCRPC. Now a worldwide trial is exploring it in metastatic hormone sensitive PC, including de novo metastatic

To those newly diagnosed! There is hope!
I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in Dec 2018. My form of Parkinson’s has a huge psychological element that many of you can relate to. It’s obvious because of how quickly I progressed while I was getting diagnosed . My Dad who was my best friend and business partner died unexpectedly in 2013, which destroyed
