Celevac anyone?
Fibogel is no use and
Movicol
has it's drawbacks even though it works - I end up with the runs after a few days on it despite reducing the dosage. I'm wanting to try another bulk softener (have tried Normacol but it gives me horrible cramps) and I need some advice.

Gastro problems
Been treating it with
Movicol
and Mebeverine when I feel it start. Just had X-rays and CT scans but all clear. I've an appointment with a gastro guy at the end of November, but want to go with more details or a better way of explaining it.

coloscopy!
So this time I had to take two
movicol
sachets for about 10 days before, spagulax sachet with every meal, suppositories to help me go and in the 24 hours beforehand I took 12
movicol
sachets and the prepacol product. After all these products I was finally successfully emptied!

Ibs can be helped with organic apple cider vinegar
I now get no cramps and because I used to suffer with constipation I will have to take
movicol
for that. The amiltryptaline caused constipation . Look up the vinegar cure and the tablet. Hope this will help some of you.

Constipation after anti-sickness drug from chemo yesterday
Despite taking 2 Sennakot and numerous
Movicol
sachets I have had no bowel movement at all since before the chemo. Any advice anyone? How many days do I leave it until I assume I have a blockage and go to A&E?

Constipation and Kidney Failure. Does anyone have any advice, or ideas about the management of chronic constipation in Peritoneal Dialysis.
Constipation is chronic and my Bowel has slowed down to hardly function at all, only going every four days, even with lactulose, docusate,
movicol
, senna! I am getting extremely paranoid about it. I am concerned there is something seriously wrong. What should I do?

I have just had laparoscopy for endo and also found that I have diverticular disease of sigmoid colon. Never heard of this disease before!
The doctor gave me a rectal examination yesterday and although I asked to be referred for a colonoscopy the doctor just gave me the impression that this is something that I can live with - ie. keep taking the high fibre,
movicol
(although this doesn't always help and at times causes quite uncomfortable

Has anyone tried CONSTELLA (linoclotide)- the latest one a day capsule for constipation usually prescribed by a consultant?
Wanted to get off
Movicol
which I have been on for many years. I shall probably go back to using herbs as I seem to be so sensitive to drugs.

Repeat Fungal Infection in my child- could it be linked to hypothyroidism?
When he was 4 he had a tonsilectomy as he had tonsilitis practically every month for years, and he has always suffered with constipation, and still has medication (
movicol
) for this. He eats a very healthy diet, gets plenty of excercise, and although he is a solid boy, he is not overweight.
