Dopamine Patch versus tablets your experience?
Hi, I am seeking your experience as to whether Patches are safe and do or do not cause more complications than the tablets. I was diagnosed with PD 6 years ago and my Neurologist has suggested a Neupro patch 2mg/24h because I reported no real on and off periods on the Madopar tablets and no real difference

I have Corticobasal diagnosed in 2015. I continued to work until 2018 my right side (called Sherlock) who does as he wishes is affected. I take 25mg/100mg carbidopa /levodopa CR. I have been adding 200mg of B1 in the last 18months. My family noticed a great improvement in my limited speech and movement

Night time medication
My husband takes Madopar IR and mucuna during the day, approx 4 tabs of Madopar 100/25 and 1.5mg of mucuna, which gives him quite good on/off times. What doesn't work so well is the night, where he takes one Madopar CR at 10pm and then one Madopar IR at 3.30/4am, with some mucuna here and there. Any

Has anyone tried Madapor Patches!
Hello Friends , Mum is finding it difficult to take Soluble Madopar. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with the Madopar Patches that stick onto the skin. I believe it is a different name to Madapor. I would appreciate any feedback if you have tried this type of patch. Many Thanks

PD is relentless
So my husband has just noticed this week, his left foot has started to tremor. He has so far only had right side hand and arm tremor with severe stiffness and dystonia in right foot when he has too much levadopa. This is very distressing that his left foot is now misbehaving, does this just mean he

Help for a friend with corticobasal degeneration.
Dear forum friends: I have a friend who has been diagnosed with corticobasal degeneration. I can't find much specific information about this atypical parkinsonism. Except for Dr. Costantini's reference in the famous interview (number 30) or the comments on medical cannabis oil, I can't find any information

Hubby has been taking rhodiola now for a month, 1 per day for 2 weeks then 2 per day. He is doing very well this winter considering usually winter is when he falls to pieces.
