No endo found at laproscopy and don't know what to do now.
I have an appointment booked with my gp for a coil check next Friday (
mirena
coil was fitted during surgery) so i am going to ask what to do next then, but from previous experience my doctors are quite happy to say I have ibs and need to learn to live with it.

Excessive back pain and chronic fatigue, is it possible Endo isn’t the only cause??
So last month I had my second laparoscopy with incision of
mirena
coil. I know it’s too early to know how well both of these have worked, but I have had some quite severe back pain and it hasn’t come along with a period as it normally would.

Lap Date Finally!
So I finally have a date for a lap, 25th of October, the gynae doctor suspects endo and will remove any traces if they show up on the lap then I am being fitted with the
mirena
coil. So my question is, what to expect?

Prostap injection and Mirena coil together - any experience?
I’m considering having the
Mirena
coil fitted this month whilst I still am taking the Prostap. Anyone had experience of this?

IUD REMOVAL
On 13/09/19 I had my
mirena
IUD removed as me and my boyfriend have decided we wanted to try for a baby. I only had it for about 5 weeks (sounds silly I know) but then I had a bit of cramping and bleeding on 14/09/19.

Last resort for me: Mirena Coil
Anyway on topic: he did say at my appointment when this surgery wad arranged that if I wanted, he could fit a
Mirena
Coil on the day whilst I'm under the anaesthetic, I just need to tell him on the morning.

Adenomyosis and lower back pain.
I went to a Sexual health clinic at nearest hospital and had an amazing doctor talk me through my condition and side effects of
Mirena
-so much kinder than my expensive gynae! He thought the
Mirena
could be dislodged which it was, so removed it & I declined his offer to reinsert another one.

Post Laproscopic Pain
I had the
mirena
inserted, my gynae said this would help with pelvic pain, but the pain is almost ten times worse than before my surgery! I have been to my doctors and the
mirena
has been checked and shouldn't be causing this pain. Can Endo come back that quickly?

EGG COLLECTING
I was on proatap 3 injections for 7 YEARS until this January 2019 and also had
mirena
coil. I stopped my prostap injections, removed my coil and my periods came back within a few weeks!! I even have an accurate cycle. Amazing ..as I didn’t even have a cycle before!

What should I expect with a mirena coil?
I’m having a laparoscopy on the 29th and at the same time having a
mirena
coil inserted. I’ve had a lap before but what about the
mirena
coil? How effect is it for treating symptoms of Endo and will it cause any discomfort? Thanks

Experiences with Lo-Estrin 20 vs Mercilon
Lo-Estrin 20 has lower levels of oestrogen and a different progestogen than what’s in the
Mirena
(Levonorgestrel).

My coil isn’t helping :( any alternatives for endo?
I’ve had the
Mirena
for a 16 months and now the jaydess for three months. They both make me bloated, emotional, don’t take away my pain and give me migraines! Are there any alternatives that have worked for you ladies? X

Unclear outcome from lap
He also told me to ‘not expect it to be gone forever’ and that he has put in a
mirena
coil to deal with any symptoms. Should I expect to need another surgery in the future?

Finally a diagnosis, it's endometriosis :(
I opted for the laparoscopy which I do not have a date for yet, along with a
mirena
coil to slow down regrowth. After so many years of pain I am fairly desperate to just get this looked at properly. Unfortunately I've got a long history of very bad reactions to hormonal birth control.

Pre-diagnosis
Hi all :) just seen the gynaecologist and as you all know it’s hard to diagnose. Just wondering people’s thoughts on the laparoscopy? I’ve already had the marina coil for 8/9 years but only symptomatic in last year so wanted to see who is for or against it? I’m only 28 and having children is important

Burst cyst?
My period started a couple of days ago, it's really light as I have the
Mirena
but was more painful than usual. Then yesterday morning I was suddenly doubled over in pain and could do nothing but curl in a ball and cry, couldn't speak, didn't know what to do!

Mirena & Bloating
Hi, I've had the
mirena
in for 2 weeks now. Still get niggly cramps and the feeling that its "there". Has anyone else experienced really sore boobs and heavy bloating? This is really affecting me now, 2lbs on in a day just with bloat and it is painful. How long do side effects take to settle? TIA

Don't understand why my doctor won't diagnose me with endometriosis
The doctor has advised me to have a
Mirena
coil fitted and said he wouldn't advise me to have a laparoscopy as it could cause more endometriosis and more complications but does seem very likely I do have endometriosis.
