Newbie, first time posting... Questions after 1st Laparoscopy
Hi everyone, So glad I have found this site. I had a laparoscopy done in March to remove Endo and had the Marina Coil fitted after a long battle with GP's and Gynaecologists telling me there was nothing wrong and maybe it was in my head. It was quite bad and they removed about 80% of it. They could

Period after Mirena coil taken out
I bled and had a 'period' straight away once the coil was taken out and that was painful.. I've been having period cramps for the past week or so but no blood. Is this the build up to one hell of a period? How has the first period been after its been taken out for everyone else?

Daily Spotting for Months since Coil & Lap
Hey ladies, I'm having a terrible time 😞 In Nov 16, I had my third laparoscopy and cystoscopy (where endo was found and removed) and whilst having the lap, my surgeon inserted the
mirena
coil. However, since February I have been having daily 'spotting'.

Doctor suspects endo, would love advice.
I've been on all contraception (i wish I was exaggerating about that but other than sterilisation I've tried it all) my periods are so heavy that the
mirena
coil got flushed out during one cycle.

Mirena Coil Removed!
So I will see now if the post lap pain was caused by the
Mirena
and if it was aggravating the pain on intercourse too. For now feeling pretty darn sore ( yes it hurt) but can feel it's absence in a good way. Fingers crossed for the best.

Ultrasound showed Ovary looked 'dense' - is this a common factor of endo/chocolate cysts?
I have had two children, but since then pain has got worse, so I had another lap and they diagnosed endo and I am put me on the
mirena
coil. The pain continues to be bad, so they referred for other checks (bowel/blood/liver) including a CT scan which showed a mass on my left ovary (3cm).

New Granddaughter made things better.
Had fibroids and polyps removed and a
mirena
coil put in. Apart from doing my usual fainting everything went fine. The idea was to reduce bleeding during the menopause, to help with anaemia. Since then I have been either having a heavy discharge or bleeding and constant period pains.

Survival tips on hormone withdrawal please...
I've ended up going cold turkey on both a
Mirena
coil after 5 months (due to pelvic physical discomfort) and zoladex/tibilone ( only survived 2 months as the effects were so horrid). I had a kind of hormone crash lunchtime got the shakes and have started to bleed heavily. Is this normal?

Mirena warning
I had my
Mirena
removed on 20th Apr due to intolerable side effects. Now having the heaviest bleeding I have ever had in my life (and I'm used to heavy periods). It's awful and if it continues like this I doubt I'll be able to go to work tomorrow due to the flooding. 😔

Nervous
Hi I'm new to this 😬 I am very nervous about my upcoming laparoscopy. My story seems to have gone on forever and although I've not been diagnosed every symptom I have seems to point towards endometriosis. Ever since I started my periods age 14 they were heavy and painful, at the age of 16 I had a

Newly diagnosed and feeling alone
He left me with two choices, freeze my eggs as soon as possible which is £6000 and the chances of the eggs being fertilised after the freezing and thawing process is quite low, or have my
mirena
coil removed and begin to let 'nature take its course' with the option of IVF at 23.

Mirena Coil taken out..
I had my coil taken out two days ago as it was sat on the bottom of my cervix and since then I've had heavy bleeding, pains across my stomach and my legs feel like a ton of bricks. Is this normal after having the coil? Its my first time with the coil so I'm not sure.

Post laparoscopy periods
At my follow up appointment, they wanted to fit me with a
mirena
coil but I've had that before and it DID NOT agree with me. Also I want to try and get pregnant again but I don't know how much long er I can live like this.
