I'm new here - feel like it's all in my head...
I had also tried the
mirena
IUD but it gave me awful cramps and bleeding and I had it taken out. My periods came back pretty quickly (they didn't appear on cerazette that much). Holy flip. They were painful. Mainly days 1 and 2. If my period started in the night the pain would wake me up.

Symptoms and a sanity check
I have had heavy periods all my life although I now have a

Period after Prostap with Mirena?
I’ve had the
Mirena
coil in for 3 years and still had periods every few months if not every month (question 1 – has anybody else’s periods just continued on it?), last year I had 6, monthly Prostap injections with my last one being on the 8th of November.

Anyone had ventrosuspension? And found it to improve painful sex?
I had my first laparoscopy in july last year to look for endometriosis but none was found so a
mirena
coil was inserted to try and help with the symptoms. I also suffer with really painful sex during and after often with bleeding too, making it nearly impossible for me.

Mirena coil messing with my moods and skin
For about two months I've been having severe mood swings and terrible skin (adult acne). This has never happened before, and I can only assume it's coil related. I had it fitted early July last year and at first it was perfect, little to no pain and no bleeding (occasional spotting). Now my skin has

Recently I have had the

Should I keep the Mirena coil or remove it? Advice please!
I know a lot of these are endo symptoms however since my surgery they are worse and I know anxiety can make things feel worse but I'm just unsure on whether the
mirena
could be aggravating things more. Has anyone else had similar experience with the
mirena
?

Recent suspected diagnosis
I have been put on the contraceptive pill and taken off it, had the
mirena
coil put in, had mefanamic and tranexamic acid. Each one has helped a little but the pain is still unbearable and the bleeding continues daily.

One for the ladies ..MIRENA coil.
Hello ladies Anyone on here had experience with
MIRENA
coil. I had one fitted last month and I've not quite felt right since. Not sure if it's just a flair up and i waa due one or if it's the hormones in the coil causing havoc with my body and it's triggering it.

Feeling down in the dumps - Mirena coil & tooth problems
So I had the
Mirena
fitted during my 2nd lap which was in November to remove stage 4 endo, and for the past 6 weeks I have been bleeding constantly (not 1 day break) - it's more than spotting and I need to change tampons/pads like I would with a normal period.

One swollen Tonsil and Hypo
I took the
Mirena
out and all things went away and all of these woman I spoke too had similar symptoms on the
Mirena
that mimicked auto immune disorders. Since that time where I was sick I gained a enlarged right tonsil that never went down. I had it scanned it has been with me for about a year.

Out of options? Endo and Mirena
In May 2017 I had a laparoscopy to diagnose and treat endo and a
mirena
coil fitted. Before having my surgery I was put on every form of hormonal birth control possible with the same out come - severe depression.

Mirena Coil - Your stories, good or bad!
I'm starting to seriously consider the
Mirena
as the Depo Shot gave me side affects i wasnt happy with, the main one being absolutely no sex drive whatsoever (one of my main problems with having endo is the lack of sex in my relationship due to pain) and I read that
