Micronor

I have tried my microgynon, Cerazette and last night Micronor (norethisterone. I really want my heavy periods to stop but the pill makes me sick!!

I'm currently on puberty blockers (Lupron, in my case), and am also on an add back therapy (so micronor, which is just progesterone) as apparently this reduces the negative effects of the puberty blocker I'm on - according to my doctor anyways.

I would just like to know if I would be better off trying a mini pill (progestin only), for example, Femulen, Micronor, Norgeston or Noriday? I look forward to receiving some advice, and thank you all in advance xxx

I've used different pills and i started suffering with Migraines. 3 years ago I was put on Micronor which completed stopped my periods for 2 years which was bliss but unfortunately about a year ago they just appeared regularly and have been very painful...to the point I've had to miss work and cancel

After recently being switched to Noriday from Micronor with surprisingly little trouble I now hear that Noriday is unavailable too and with no suggestions at all for an equivalent.

Hi , I was taking the mini pill ( Micronor ) and was getting along great with it until I had a little mishap that required me doing a swift visit to the chemist to get the morning after pill . The pharmacist advised me to stop my contraception due to my thyroid issues .

I've tried a couple of different contraceptive pills and am now currently taking micronor. My endometriosis symptoms are still present and exactly the same as before I had my lap.

removal. since being on cerazette just finished 4th packet I have pretty much bled everyday with mild period symptoms however the nausea and general unwell feeling has gone. have spoken to my specialist nurse and because of the bleeding pretty much everyday with only 14 days break she wants me to try micronor

I cannot take the combined pill as I suffer from migraines, and was using Micronor (mini pill) previous to the Depo, but went through very heavy very painful periods.

Anyway, I had my son through ivf and then prescribed the mini pill micronor. This was all good and I was breastfeeding. As soon as I stopped breastfeeding I got a period every month. I was worried me getting my period will make my endo bad.

I already have the Mirena Coil which I have had for over 2 years and it has lightened my periods A lot. but after my 2nd Lap in December I have started having spotting quite frequently so she decided to start me on Micronor.

Has anyone had any bad side effects from taking the contraceptive Micronor? Im scared to start it heard so many bad things about that mini pill.

I had Mirena Contraceptive Coil for at least 6 years and have request to take it off as possibly one of my agony....now in Micronor pills and gush!! Headache strikes...!! Better none thou but why??? Is anyone there using differ method that is can rely on?

I then was offered to take the micronor "back to back" pill to continue suppressing the symptoms..

So I've recently started micronor and have zero side effects. Before this I was on a combined pill and had every side effect possible: nausea, fatigue, migraines (with aura :'( ), no libido, sore breast, bloating, ect. I've heard that if you're over 150lbs micronor isn't as effective.

Hi, Following a severe flare-up, I've been on the standard dose (1 tab - .35 mg) of Micronor for a month to try to control stage 4 endometriosis. I had my 1st lap in August last year, and will have my 2nd at the beginning of May this year.

If any of you do know you are Hypermobile or have always been very bendy / flexible and have Endo and Progesterone Injection / Pill micronor, noriday, cerazette, norgeston, cerelle / Mirena is suggested, be very careful, bear this in mind, and do your research.

So im taking micronor. I just feel a bit lost. Gyny have said they dont need to see me back unless my pain starts getting unbearable again. Im just confussed... after i recover from the op am i just expected to carry on as normal? No checkups? No help in managing this? X

Hi all i need some advice pls.my daughter was diagnosed with stage 1 endo after having a lap in dec 2013.they put her on the contraceptive pill micronor in april.This hasnt helped atall the pain is more severe n she had a period the end of may n is now back on again in worse pain.Is the pill supposed

I started the Micronor POP after one attempt months ago (I stopped because I felt too pessimistic and blue) I am going to try again with the same POP just to be sure. I would like to read some experiences of women who have the Mirena or are taking Micronor pills. Thanks!!!
