Does there come a point where they try to find out the cause of no pregnancy? Is anyone else in a similar

If I can't get on the trial I want to join, I may be offered these drugs. Is it right that they help to keep the situation in the same place rather than reduce the the tumours? Has anyone seen a significant reduction in disease using hormone treatment for PPC or Ovarian, particularly low grade. it'll

Has any one been given Letrozole to slow down hormone receptive tumors? I saw my onc. yesterday and was told to take Letrozole also because I seem to have a mass that has been called a cist I have been bleeding for 4 months now they are going to give me 5 days of targeted radiotheraphy to shrink it back

I have a painful throat. Previous ultra sound showed cysts either side of my thyroid but not on my thyroid anyone know what that means?
Just signed up! I have an apparently normal 2.7 TSH but following an ultra sound on my thyroid I have been told by my Dr that I have cists on either side of my thyroid, but not on it. A couple of these are calcified. The Dr has prescribed 25gm of thyroxin - T4 levothyroxine sodium, daily (6 weeks ago

AN UPDATE.....PLUS A GENERAL QUESTION OR 2
As we expected last Fri our Onc said NO to more chemo, said it will not work. Now this is the same Onc that said the same 18 months ago and was then prepared to 'give up' until i persuaded her to refer us to the Marsden for a 2nd opinion. The Onc said all they will do is a trial, but the Marsden

Not an uplifting post so as they say ......some of you may want to look away now!! Saw Onc and as suspected the Letrozole are not working, CA125 over 5000 now. My wife has spent the last 4-5 days in bed with chronic fatigue, nausea and often vomiting. She has over the past couple of months gone

letrozole (femara) for endo instead of menopause injection
I have been doing some research on the net and come across letrozole (femara) the drug they use to make women ovulate. Apparently if you take it for 6 months it is just as or even more affective than the injection used to induce temporary menopause without the horrendous side effects. It may be worth

LETROZOLE - AND SIDE EFFECTS
Hi, my wife has been on Letrozole for a month now and she is getting what we assume are the side effects, though of course it could just be the ongoing OC aches and pains. This question is for anyone on it, or that has been on it: 'My wife has quite a constant pain in her groin/tops of legs, an achey

Letrozole - a few questions
Hello Ladies A huge thank you for all the replies to my 'in need of moral support' post - did the trick. Operation next week for my recurrance. Letrozole then floated as a treatment, I dont know anything about it - is it taken daily or weekly? At home or in hospital? For a fixed period or forever??
