How do I know
I was diagnosed with stage IIIb lobular carcinoma in April of 2011. I had health insurance under the expanded Medicaid (thanks to the ACA) after 7 years of no coverage thanks to my pre-existing condition (thyroid cancer in 1999). I went through a lumpectomy followed by mastectomy, 6 months of chemo,

Joint and Bone Pain.
Two weeks ago I lowered my pain med dose to see if it would help my fatigue. Since lowering it I have new muscle pain and joint pain and stiffness. Does anybody have this type of pain? It is not the bone pain that I have but different and I did not have it a year ago before I started Ibrance and Letrozole

Anyone not ovulate on Letrozole?
Its my first month taking Letrozole, i’m on day 16 and still no positive ovulation test. I have unexplained infertility, normally ovulate on my own every month between day 16-19. Has anyone taken this and not ovulated?

Struggling
Hello ladies, I’ve had a bad night. I’m struggling because I want to have a double mastectomy and my husband and son does not agree. I’m on Ibrance and Letrozole I do Lupron shots and xygevia shots once a month. My husband keeps saying it’s too radical bc I’m on the meds and will continue to be so

What happens after NED?
Hello my lovelies, I am on my third cycle of Letrozole and first cycle of Ibrance. I am incredibly pleased to report almost nothing so far in the way of side effects, in fact if I didn't know differently I wouldn't know there was a thing wrong with me. I am thinking ahead here and also thinking optimistically

CT results today show I am stable and continue to have No evidence of Active Disease
Just to update you ladies on a similar path ... I saw my onc today and she was pleased with my continued stable results (I have bone mets) . I’m on my 17th cycle of ibrance / Letrozole at 125mg and have no pain , my bloods are fine and generally I feel well (just the occasional tiredness). My tumour

A Good Day
Today I start my 30th month of Ibrance and letrozole. I had a Ct scan yesterday and I am still stable. I went from many lung nodes to one tiny node in one lung. Today is a good day. I wish my knees and hips were in the mood to celebrate.

veeeeeeery interes-tink re: letrozole
I thought this was interesting regarding Letrozole. Posting the paragraph of my greatest interest FIRST .... makes ya go hmmmmmmmmmm ... or me anyway. “compliance” is how consistent the women were in taking the hormonal therapy; the women were given treatment packs every 6 months -- any woman who took

Hi Ladies, I love this site, even though I don't reply, I read your posts & I want those of you who are going through this a second time to know it is helping dr's with first timers. I had invasion ductal cancer, rt breast, no lump, & it went into the rt. & lft. side lymph nodes, no lft. breast invasion

MRI and Bone Scan update (Stage IV BC)
After 8months of Letrozole with Ibrance including 10rounds of radiation for bone mets in the spine, my scans showed no progression of metastasis and in keeping with response to treatment and no evidence of new lesions. Keep the faith and be positive all the time ladies! Will have CT scan soon...

Ibrance, Letrozole and Tumor Marker “flare” after beginning treatment?
Anyone else experience a rise in tumor markers after starting Ibrance and Letrozole? If so, how long until they started to go back down? I know I shouldn’t pay too much attention to markers BUT it doesn’t make me feel too confident when they rise.

New To Group / First CT
I am new to the group and wanted to introduce myself. I am 56 years old and diagnosed with Breast Cancer with several bone metastasis in October 2018. I was put on Letrozole, Ibrance 125, and have a monthly Xgeva injection. So far I am tolerating the medication and had my first CT scan this morning

Letrozole Ibrance & CBD?
I’m 4 months into treatment with Ibrance and Letrozole, tumours showing signs of reduction but know this treatment isn’t a ‘cure’. Looking at starting CBD and was wondering how others had faired with this on the same meds . . I have heard different opinions. Difficult to discuss with my Oncologist

Support by drug? I want to stay here, I don’t feel so afraid with this group.
I was happy to find this site and have gotten to know some of the people by their posts. I couldn’t tolerate Ibrance so I’m now on verzenio which is working much better for me. I just couldn’t breathe on Ibrance and I tried to force myself to take it because it works so well on the cancer. I was diagnosed

I'm new here - Denosumab?
Hello, I have recently been diagnosed with stage 4 BC (extensive but relatively light bone mets and spots on liver plus hazy mesentery) and have been put on Letrozole which seems to be shrinking tumours. I am due to start on Ibrance in the next few days and between them, my onc believes they should give

Maintenance
Hello! I just had my second recurrence with stage IV ovarian and finished chemotherapy. My recent ct scan showed no evidence of disease. I spoke with my oncologist about maintenance options. I have been on Zejula after the 1st recurrence, so this time we decided on Letrozole. Have any of you been on
