Migraine care, helpless
This is going to be a long one, I am so sorry. I also posted this on another HealthUnlocked Forum, but I actually had meant to post it here... so I hope that's not a problem. I need guidance about this, I feel rather helpless right now. I have been having migraines since I can remember, definitely since

Migraine Care Struggles
This is going to be a long one, I am so sorry. I have been having migraines since I can remember, definitely since I got a CT scan (nothing to see) when I was about 4 1/2 years old. In the beginning, my parents tried to get a better diagnosis and better care, which led to me trying out stuff like manual

Ectopic heartbeats
Constant ectopic heat beats with anything I do. I can get up from my desk, go up stairs, reach for something, lay down.. uggh can this really be anxiety driven??? I’m also on metoprolol 12.5 twice a day.

Metoprolol 12.5
I got prescribed metoprolol 12.5 twice a day for my pvcs episodes/ ectopic beats. And apparently it also works for anxiety. I’m wondering is what I’m taking a low dose. I’ve read it decreases zinc witch it can lead to losing sex drive and testosterone levels. Can I take a multi-vitamin to increase them

Metoprolol
Is metoprolol 12.5 2x a day a small dosage? I just got that prescribed for pvcs and I’m reading that if I stop using it I can get a heart attack or severe palpitations. Is that true? Or is that for higher dosages?

Unexplained Chest Pains/Palpitations
I started having tachycardia 4 years ago. My heart rate would go up into the 170s. I've had several ECGs, blood work, CT Scan of the heart, stress test, holter monitor, Ziopatch and echo. Everything came back normal. I have been put on propranolol, metoprolol, and now Bisoprolol 2.5 mg once daily since

Drinking Post Afib Ablation Surgery
So I had Catheter Ablation procedure about a month back and wanted some opinions are drinking alcohol post surgery. I had a few drinks twice since surgery and didn't feel any irregular Afib feelings the next morning which is when I would usually get them. My procedure was a success and don't want to

Nervous to start flecainide acetate For PACs, PVCs, and tachycardia
Hi I am a 32 y/o female who has been taking metoprolol 25mg extended release for a few years now for some PACs, PVCs and tachycardia (tachycardia was never above 130) The metoprolol is making my blood pressure very low and my new cardiologist switched me to flecainide acetate but I’m nervous to start

I got yelled at😢
Im 66 yr old, well seasoned old nurse who thought I could handle just about any thing. I always considered myself a calm person. Well today I got yelled at and hung up on by a mom of a teenager we know. Details arent important other than it was an over reaction, uncalled for and I was innocent( I know

Information re: beta blockers
Hello everybody. I'm looking for some advice today. I have paroxysmal atrial fib, and am taking 1/4 tab of 25 mg Metoprolol 2x/day (6.25 mg). If I increase the dosage, I get severe brain fog, so much that I can't even operate the TV remote. My heart rate and B/P are both fairly low, heart rate usually

CBD for anxiety and insomnia
Has anyone had experience with CBD for relieving anxiety and insomnia? I’m on Pradaxa, metoprolol and had ablation for AFib and SVT 2 yrs ago. Doing ok mostly but extremely lethargic because I don’t get enough sleep even with my CPAP. I’m 74 and was otherwise pretty healthy. I appreciate any insight

Ablation - Second Procedure
Greetings All, I had my second Ablation on Tuesday, April 30 in NYC. Home now and feeling tired, sore and a little beaten up. Doctor thinks it all went well and rest and time will tell. I was much stronger and more prepared mentally and physically this time. Please if anyone is hesitating about the procedure

Blood pressure spike during AF while sleeping.
Hello. I'm 64 and was diagnosed with AF last year although I believe I have had it for awhile prior to that. I'm on 25mg of Metoprolol (1/2 pill twice a day). No blood thinner, just a baby asprin a day. Sometimes I wake up from a sound sleep and know I'm not 'right'. My blood pressure cuff doesn't always
