Scan
I just had my CT scan. I'm really nervous as the last two scans have resulted in having to change medicine. I'm on Xeloda now and praying it's working! Prayers are much appreciated as I wait for the results! Colleen

Mammograms
My oncologist doesn’t feel mammograms are necessary since I’m being treated for MBC. I’ve had a partial mastectomy of my right breast, chemo and radiation in 2005. It metastasized to both lungs in 2016. I had massive chemo again. Now I’m on Letrozole and Ibrance and everything is stable. But I wanted

How do I know
I was diagnosed with stage IIIb lobular carcinoma in April of 2011. I had health insurance under the expanded Medicaid (thanks to the ACA) after 7 years of no coverage thanks to my pre-existing condition (thyroid cancer in 1999). I went through a lumpectomy followed by mastectomy, 6 months of chemo,

Knowing that the matrix is responsible for the healing of injuries and knowing its proteins play a crucial role in the prevention of
metastasis
of tumours and cellular cancers is indeed obvious why its so important. Not to forget that its proteins also play a role in preventing thrombosis.

Clinical Trial Trials
So far, his scans have not shown any bone or visceral
metastasis
. June of last year, his meds were stopped because his PSA was undetectable. In February, he was restarted on Meds because his PSA was, once again, rising. He has scans every 6 months as part of the study.

Best ADT for CVD?
My husband is going to have ADT + Zytiga +radiation (prostate +lymph nodes pelvis +
metastasis
) in an aggressive approach to oligometastatic cancer (T3b, N1 M1, Gleason 9). He is fit but has atheroscleroses and will need stents.

Alcohol Intake & Lethal PCa.
We examine (1) whether alcohol intake among men at risk of prostate cancer is associated with diagnosis of lethal prostate cancer and (2) whether intake among men with nonmetastatic prostate cancer is associated with
metastasis
or death.

Update in my lymph node metastasis
After 1 3 month Lupron shot and 104 days of Casodex my PSA has dropped from 4.48 to 0.17. I get another Lupron shot on June 3. I have a question, may be someone can throw some light on it. It is said the metazoic PCa becomes castrate resistant, on the average, in about 2 to 3 years of hormone treatment

My Story
The urologist at that point said there was no need in poking around the prostate since there was proof of
metastasis
. Oncology scheduled me for 40 rounds of radiation which was the time of my life, and yes that is sarcasm! Well to shorten this up, I am on Lupron and casodex.
