Chemo vacation
Hello out there. I am so excited to say that I am on a chemotherapy vacation! The last chemo was the Gemzar and Navalbien. After 9 rounds the damn cancer got smart and no longer kept its place. It began to grow. More mets and larger existing ones. I was then put back on my original chemotherapy

Afinitor/evermestane..verses Ibrance and faslodex
I have been on the first oral combination around six months. The side effects for me have been horrible. The doctor took me off. My pet scan came back with 5 new cancer spots and no change in the original tumors. She wants me to start Ibrance and faslodex. Has anyone out there started with the afinitor

CLINICAL TRIAL w/ ALISERTIB
After 4 cycles of Ibrance along w/ Fulvestrant injections another tumor appeared in my left breast that continues to grow. The 1st tumor that I discovered initially in that breast went away after 16 rounds of intravenous chemo in 2017. A mastectomy was not done as my cancer had already metastasized and

Faslodex
Anyone on Faslodex having burning aching knees and thighs plus redness around knees weakness in legs or whatever side effects I’d be interested in hearing. Wishing everyone success with your treatment.

A lumpectomy and 21 rounds of radiation (so it wouldn't come back). I was done, put it behind me and moved on. In March, while bathing, I noticed several

Promising Experimental Drug to Watch
Here's an interesting experimental drug to watch if your cancer is HER2 positive or HER2 low (IHC 2+ or IHC 1+). It has been written up in my book, "The Insider's Guide to Metastatic Breast Cancer" which is available in paperback and eBook formats as well as in a complimentary .pdf. If interested,

New to site
I have multiple
metastasis
to the pelvis and ribs. I have started Lupron and need to make the decision on the next step of additional therapy. MO wants to do docetaxel. I am very risk averse and from what I gather from the STAMPEDE trial data, Zytiga appears to be equally effective.
