Any questions you need to ask (and you will) some one on this site will answer. They are brilliant , don't be afraid to ask, there is no question too small, some one WILL reply.
I have learned more on this site in the last few months, than I would have reading any books, Google, etc..
I feel part of a big family now.
Welcome.
Less than a year ago dx , man it is so tuff to start this path . ! At least a vaca is in the picture . You’re over due 🥳.
Welcome. Let us know if you have questions. Best of luck
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2007 and my PSA went up again in 2011. I had a bone scan and they found metastases. I had 30 more radiations on my hip area and started Lupron injections. I stayed on Lupron (Eligard - generic) for 6 and 1/2 years and last Christmas Eve my oncologist called and told me I no longer have cancer! So it takes a lot of love and work to get through this, but it can be done. Keep us informed and ask a lot of questions There are no stupid questions! I wish your husband well and probably he should get a second opinion (we all did). Thanks for asking.
Welcome Casey , The initial blast or shock from diagnosis is tremendous..you’ve come to the right place . Ask questions here before talking with doctors .. I was #4 over four years ago . I went into a remission after 8 wks of radiation and double ADT drugs . Try not to get overwhelmed with all of the medical jargon and terminologies ... the fear of the unknown is very heavy at first .. Us with stage #4 will fight this in one as or another for as long as we’re around . I’ve depended on my wife .. She’s pulled me along so far . With your love and advocacy he will get thru treatments and start recovery . Keep positive no matter what any Dr says . Some of them give morbidity stats that you don’t have to fit into.. Find time each and everyday to do anything to “ not” think out PC for awhile .. Living with advanced Prostate cancer isnt a sprint , it’s a distance marathon of attrition once you get by the first round of treatments ..Personally I’d throw the book at pc and choose the most aggressive plan . Try for a k o ... we have many caring and knowledgeable men an women . We have all been were you’re at right now . You’re far from alone . Take care ...
Greetings CaseydelTor

Hi John,
My husband diagnosed stage4 metastasis last Sept, 2018 with PSA 1000+ he is doing great with hormone therapy and after three months he's PSA went down to 0.2. Just a few days a go he got he Zometa infusion and other tests also PSA from 0.2 now 0.02 meaning the hormone therapy work for him too well, but my husband was worried about the result because he's PSA went down big time so he suggested to his doctor to have chemotherapy to attact the cancel while there sleeping and the doctor agree to him. He is getting chemo therapy this coming july 2nd week. Let see what happen. Im hoping all the cancer cells will die.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
God Bless all!
Casey
Hi CaseydelaTor,
Do keep us posted of how the chemo sessions are going on and their results.
Hoping it goes well
Best,

Dear all,
Happy new year everyone!
first of all my husband completed the six chemotherapy session last Dec 07, 2019,
so far he is doing great after having chemo, but i've noticed he's going to the bathroom more often maybe because of the chemo infusions in he's system thats he need to release?
Wondering if anyone here has the same treatment right now?
Best Regards!
happy New Year!
