Mo betta!! Yay! Lower Ibrance & Faslodex
Just wanted to update everyone on the difference in my side effects and quality of life since my MBC regimen was changed!! I am no longer on exemestane (an AI). I am now on Faslodex injections. Also my Ibrance dose was lowered from 125mg down to 100mg. The difference in my side effects is SO MUCH BETTER

Transference of Chemo.
Another possible stupid question for you ladies.... Both Ibrance and Faslodex are forms of chemo correct? Any chance of transferring any of that to my infant granddaughter? Seems far fetched but I worry about those things. Thank you❤

I am new here. I am from Canada and am getting faslodex injections monthly. We go to Palm Springs for 5 months in the winter. Just wondering if anyone knows the best way I can keep getting my monthly injections in Palm Springs. Anyone else have this situation? Grateful for suggestions. Thank you

Where in being without metastasis means "Watchful Waiting"
Basically no
metastasis
no chemo. The side effects of the CAR-T cell therapy are a little daunting, but hell no risk no reward, and maybe it helps others down the road. The price is steep, however $10K per month, and I'm unsure of Insurance coverage as it appears to be a trial.

Hello everyone, I saw my oncologist last Monday. I left the office feeling depressed for the first time in a while. She is a good doctor and she really is trying to help me. What it is, I am on my third kind of treatment; first letrozole/palbociclib, then everolimus/exemestane, now Faslodex since November

Insulin Enhances Migration and Invasion in PCa.
This includes gain of invasive and migratory capabilities, which may contribute to PCa
metastasis
. Hyperinsulinemia, which develops as a side-effect of ADT, has been associated with increased tumor aggressiveness and faster treatment failure.

It has been a while since I have posted, but I have been keeping up with the posts here. Thank you Lord! 11 months on Fulvestrant and Ibrance and my scan reveals original tumors in my spine and lungs are stable AND NO new tumors. Last September a scan showed slight activity in my T4 and T3 spine Mets

Approved Therapies for Triple Positive (HR+, HER2+) MBC Patients
This is the fourth in a series about FDA-approved treatments for each sub-type of MBC. Later this week I'll post about approved treatments for TNBC. The treatment options listed below have been reviewed with a Medical Oncologist at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in NY. Detailed information about them
