2nd Scan and all good. Happy Days and great Summer 2021.
Second Scan on Ibrance , fulvestrant and Denosumab. All Stable , happy days. Off to the Uk Lake District for weekend so a brilliant start to the weekend. I was diagnosed Nov 2020 with MBC and really thought well this is it now after having breast cancer twice since 2012 but you know what, it isn’t it

Y90?
So, after 7 months, Xeloda has failed me. The vague pain in my side was exactly what I was worried it would be. The lesions in my liver have tripled. Another therapy down. I will schedule a consult with an interventional radiologist for possible Y90 treatment. The oncologist wants to move me to a SERD

Anyone go on Verzenio after Ibrance stopped working?
Hi ladies, I was recently taken off of Xeloda after 3 cycles due to progression. Still bone mets but there might be something in my lung that can't be confirmed if its a tumor or scar tissue. My primary Onc wants me to go on IV chemo Vinorelbine because all other target drugs have failed. However

Target Medicine Changing from Ibrance to Vezernio
Hello, my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer back in June of 2018. She had been in NED since Feb of 2019 but her cancer marker CA 27.29 had increased to 66 and 81 respectively for the past two blood tests. Her current medication is Ibrance + Letrozole and her oncologist would like to change

Update Change to Eribulin
Two weeks ago I was put on Eribulin IV chemo, told its side effects would be much worse than my po meds. I ended up in the hospital with a white count down to almost zero, muccositis ( inflammation of the mucous membranes). The muccositis hurt so bad I couldn’t drink so I was dehydrated as well. After

Hello all! Have had bone mets since the beginning of this journey 6 years ago. Last January I was also diagnosed with stomach mets. Stopped taking arimidex and fulvestrant and was put on Ibrance and Tamoxifen. Had another endoscopy two days ago and the doctor said there is absolutely no sign of any

Ibrance and Faslodex stopped working; oral faslodex?
I was doing so well on Ibrance and Faslodex, I thought I would be one of the lucky ones who stayed on it for five years without progression. After just two years, I developed a new bone met, and a small lesion in the hilem (?). My oncologist took me off Ibrance, then off Faslodex. The alternatives were

I have hope
I am new and this is my first post. I had breast cancer 11 years ago at the age of 64. It was caught very early by routine mammogram and the surgeon was just going to remove the very small lump. I said I would feel safer if I had a mastectomy, and he agreed to that. Now the cancer has come back, this

Father recently diagnosed with metastatic PC
Hi all, I am from India and my father (75 years) was recently diagnosed with metastatic prostrate cancer with distant
metastasis
to bones (avid during PET scan). He has had an enlarged prostrate for a long time and a recent blood test showed a PSA of close to 500!

Fun weekend.
Morning, so today is my eldest child's birthday, hes 5 today. I'm a mixture of emotions, so happy to see his birthday and hoping there are many more to see. We went to Flamingoland yesterday for his birthday, he was also tall enough for a few roller coasters this year but he is definitely not an adreneline

m=1 However, just about everything I find – from studies and from messages and stories on this forum – indicate that these medications in practice are taken when there is indeed PSA expressed, often failed ADT, castration resistance and/or ongoing

Trying to decide if I will continue ADT after 9 months.
Bone scan showed no evidence of
metastasis
. MRI didn’t show
metastasis
. Started on bicalutimide and IMRT. Then added Lupron and 28 sessions ofIMRT last 2 with brachy boost. Then did HDR brachytherapy two separate days, two treatments each day.

How low is too low
I have been having radiation over the last several days to treat pain due to large
metastasis
in my hips. I’m due to start jevtava and cisplatin this Thursday. Just got my blood work back and my wbc is 3.5 and rbc is 3.48. Now I’m concerned that this will delay my much needed chemo Thursday
