Gaining weight on ADT
Hey all. I’ve been on Lupron for about 2 years and Zytiga/prednisone for the past year. I’m metastatic, with a few bone and lymph node mets. PSA levels have dropped to no-detect for the past 6 months. Wooooot! But I’ve dropped some weight without trying. I’m about 5’-10” and typically at about 165.

How much prednisone should you take for adrenal fatigue?
I have seen many posts here by patients treated by Dr. P in the UK and who were told to take either prednisone or Nutri Adrenals Extra or both for the rest of their lives. From the posts I´ve read, it would seem they were prescribed a full replacement dose of pred (5 mg or more daily). I consulted a

2nd PSA Post RP
6 weeks post RP and removal of lymph glands with one positive, the PSA was 8.4 and Testosterone 15. I hesitated on starting Lupron and discussed with both the Oncologist and the Urology surgeon whether surgical castration would be appropriate. The decision was that I would wait for another PSA/Test bloodwork

Well, it happened . . .
After 10 years of experiencing various prostate cancer treatments, it sounds like next month I'll probably be moving onto Provenge. I know it prolongs life without lowering your PSA (another topic entirely), but how long does it slow/stop progression? In other words could I plan on it "working" for

Swelling behind my knees, below my eyes, along the front of legs, breasts, neck. What is going on?
I have been on this site now for some months. It is very uplifting to find a support group like this. My journey so far is this. I was diagnosed in December 2016. My PSA then was 116; Gleason Score of 9. My MO placed me immediately on Taxo chemo. I did 6 rounds of it. Then I started taking Lupron

Is monthly Lupron better than 6 month Eligard?
On my first 24 month round of hormone therapy I was on Lupron monthly. Now on my second round of hormone therapy, after a 24 month vacation, had a 4 month shot of Eligard followed by a 6 month shot of Eligard. Two months into the recent shot my psa has doubled to 1.16. Could the 6 month shot have failed
