tE2 Intead of Lupron
I read with interest the recent thread on tE2 instead of Lupron. Some of you were very enthusiastic about this alternative. Since it looks like I'll be on Lupron for the rest of my life, I wanted to explore this option further. I sent the links from the thread to my MO (the 5/2017 article about the

Started Xtandi Today after Taxotere Finished.
Three weeks ago I had my last of 6 sessions (every 3 weeks) of Taxotere and monthly Lupron shots. Post RP PSA was 63 and now after chemo undetectable. Got back Ct scans and no Mets to chest, abdomen or pelvic area. One enlarged node shrank. Staying on Lupron and starting Xtandi. I’m taking it before

Two questions
Hi- a couple of questions. Is it rare for ADT to work for more than about two years? I’d be interested in those who progressed beyond that and were still androgen sensitive. I’m at about 1 year, 2 months. Also, according to recent studies I’ve read, combining Zytiga with apalutimide seems to prolong

Can Abiraterone/Zytiga cause low blood sugar?
I’m diabetic and use an insulin pump. I’m on Abiraterone for about 5 months now, with hydrocortisone 10 mg per day to control Abiraterone side effects during PC treatment. Also took about 9 months Firmagon shots, but just switched to Lupron to preserve belly area for pump insulin insertion ports or continuous

Xtandi not working but Dr says stay on it?????
Xtandi worked well for about 15 months but stopped --- DR ( MO ) now put me on monthly injections of lupron. Makes no sense to me and doing both has me really fatigued. Lupron is working!!!! Is anyone doing both and why, my Dr was just too quick with me and said basically just follow what I say - nice

BiTE Clinical Trial
Hello! My husband will be entering this clinical trial, in the arm testing the dosing of a combination of AMG-160 and AMG-404, two targeted immunotherapies. The trial number is NCT 04631601. A little background, my husband is 44 years old now and was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic PC in February

The final end of the battle.
After 26 months my husband passed on March 8. He was first diagnosed in Jan. 2019 with Gleason score of 9(5+4) and PSA 15. It had already metastasized to the bone. His physical a year earlier was negative but they did not do a PSA test. He was on Lupron. They tried Zytiga and Xtandi. He had spot radiation

After 2 years and 8 month vacation PSA back up 0.3 what now?
Here we go again. My husband was diagnosed Nov 2010. The liver enzymes were

Higher AST and ALT levels, from Covid vaccine nanoparticles or from Orgovyx ADT pills, or both
I got results of my AST and ALT this week and they were higher than they have ever been, on the high end of normal- 36 and 34, but they are usually in the mid 20s. Should I be concerned about these levels? The increase is probably a combination of the Orgovyx and the Vaccine. Lupron never raised my

SOC standard info on starting Xgeva without bone issues.
In Jan. 2020, after I had been on Lupron since 11/2018, my MO started me on Xgeva even though 1. I had never had a bone density scan and 2. Had no diagnosis of osteoporosis or other indicators of bone issues. In Sept. 2020 I had my first ever bone density scan and it was normal. Since then, I have read

Trying to decide if I will continue ADT after 9 months.
Haven’t posted for some time so I’ll start from the beginning. Had PSA of 6.09 May of 2018. Rose to 8.93 May of 2019. Had biopsy which showed 3+3 Gleason grade group 1 in 8 of 12 cores, no evidence of lymph or seminal invasion. Perineural invasion noted. Did active surveillance until May 2020. PSA at

PSA climbed.
Hi All, DX 2015 I have been on Lupron since 12/20 I went for next injection and psa doubled.4 to 1.10. I also took bicalutamide for a week before starting Lupron. Wondering if after 6 years if my cancer is becoming CR?

Two Years Of ADT Coming To An End.
Hi Everyone, Had RP 2/19. All bad news post-op. Gleason 9. PSA 14 going into surgery, 6 weeks later .9. Started Lupron and then a month later added Zytiga on my insistence. Had SRT 10/19. My PSA has been<.1 for almost 2 years. My oncologist and I have decided to end all ADT when my next bottle

An Anniversary and an update
Today my calendar reminds me that it was three years ago that they inserted the indwelling catheter to drain the fluid from my left chest. Looking back on that very dark time I cannot recall anyone telling me nor my asking if that catheter was ever coming out. It seemed like such a palliative relief

Lupron and seizures
My guy is Gleason 9, BRCA2, zytiga, prednisone and lupron on STAMPEDE protocol for just about over 2 years. PSA non-detectable. He has a local medical oncologist, and is waiting to hear back for an initial appointment with a prostate cancer specialist at University of Michigan. Meanwhile, he meets

Rising PSA what to do next?
It is the first time I post here. Been diagnosed in 2018 PSA 31 and Gleason score 9 - 10. RP in may 2018 followed by 36 radiations in September. Been on Lupron 3 monthly since then. Hyster+Oopherectomy vs Lupron/Orlissa for endo pain?
I'm new the group and have been reading all of your helpful posts about endo, surgery, pain relief, etc. I wanted to get some feedback on hysterectomy+oopherectomy for severe endometriosis and recurrent endometrioma or would taking Lupron or Orlissa be a better way to go? I'm also wondering for those

What should I do next?
Hi to all. Reading your posts is both informative and entertaining with a touch of sadness. It really is a journey to be a member of this club ( which no one wants to join and which takes a heavy toll on our caregivers as well). Some of you are extremely generous with your time and knowledge and I admire

Anyone taking Orgovyx (ADT)? If so, how do you compare your side effects to Lupron?
Are you taking Orgovyx (ADT)? If so, how do you compare your side effects to Lupron? I will share my experience after I hear what others have to say. There may not be more than a couple of you taking it, since it just entered the market recently.
