Dear All, My initial MBC diagnosis was in 2016 with one metastatic spot on the top of the left femur bone near the hip. Treatment was very light with a daily letrozole pill and a monthly Lupron injection. The spot melted away in one year and remained NED on annual scans for five years. I was working

PSA increase on Lupron and Zytiga
I have been on lupron and Zytiga the last 14 months with psa under .01 until 11/8 when my psa test came in at 0.27. This is of great concern to me and I’m trying to make decisions on where to go from here. My bio gives greater details of my situation. Thanks.

Transdermal E2 Gel
Many of you are still questioning my use of tE2 gel? The gel and the E2 Patch are basically an old therapy which was taken off the market in 1985 due to an increase in cardiovascular issues and replaced with the extremely profitable and 'QOL reducing' jabs called Lupron or Zolodex. Prior to that time

Side effects right after Lupron shot
I received my second Lupron shot earlier this week. I’m getting side effects - fatigue, frequent urination that I experienced for the first couple of weeks after the first shot, but then dissipated. I’m wondering if anyone has experienced similar - more intense SE’s right after the shot. Maybe

Should our RO's be doing HDR for Gleason 9?
My husband is 62, fit, active, but is Gleason 9 (4+5). All 12 cores were positive and he has seminal vesicle invasion and some evidence of extra capsular extension. Thankfully, Pylarify PSMA-Pet scan was clear with no lymph node or bone metastasis. So, he is cT3b N0M0. 2 urologist/surgeons thought surgery

Finally makes sense
I started Firmagon about a year ago with great results for 5 months and then added Xtandi....Side effects from both were minimal due to weight training in gym 3x a week and aerobic running off days. I began researching the relatively newly FDA approved Orgovyx and it made sense to me to ask my MO to

Second MRI - Likely extracapsular extension
I've been busy doing all the planning for my SBRT treatments, scheduled for Nov 29th, I am currently signed up for 5 SBRT + 18 months of lupron. Lupron and High Dose Brachytherapy
I had a biopsy that shows recurrent cancer in both seminal vesicles. The recommended treatment from MSKCC is 4-6months on Lupron and High Dose Brachytherapy. I had Brachytherapy in 2012 and I’m concerned with more radiation to the area. The doctor who will do the procedure is Michael Zelefsky. I’m inclined

Pleasant PSA surprise
I’m on the triple therapy. Lupron, Chemo and Zytiga. Got a pleasant surprise today as my blood numbers are all within suggested ranges, testosterone less then 1 and PSA of 0.09. Besides the meds, I’m hoping that my vegan diet and exercising are helping. Except for hot flashes, which I can manage,

PSA <0.04 to exactly 0.05
My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 PC in November 2019.(Gleason 9) He had 2 mets on his lower spine only. (thus the stage 4 diagnosis) He has been on Zytiga and Lupron since that time. He had radiation to the primary tumor and both mets in the summer of 2020. His PSA has been <0.04 since that time

Slight Testosterone Increase While on Lupron/Zytiga
Hi all, I've been on Lupron/Zytiga for exactly 1 year. Testosterone went from 650 to <5ng/dl in that timeframe. Now, for the first time in 11 months my Testosterone went from <5 to <12ng/dl. I know that's not much of an increase but wondering if the ADT effectiveness is fading. Could be difference

PSA ranges
I see many participants expressing concern over PSA management at levels less than 1.0. My journey began with a test result over 3,800 in late 2020 and never dropped below 6.0 with the various treatment regimens (docetaxel, then abiraterone, then cabazitaxel/carboplatin, lupron/zometa throughout, now

Rise in testosterone
How concerned should we be if husband’s testosterone has risen from 3 to 34. (Diagnosed Stage 4/metastatic in Sept. 2017. Lupron/Zytiga/prednisone beginning in Jan.2018 and PSA has been undetectable since May 2018.) Last testosterone reading was November 2021. (It has been at 3 since 2019.) Test results

Supraclavicular Lymph node Metastasis and Imaging Issues
hey all, I have a couple questions and hoping for some input from the forum. My PSMA Pet scan showed psma avid nodes in my neck. There were three and are all around .6 cm. My MO is concerned that no other uptake was shown between my pelvic region up to my neck. Should I expect there are more areas to
