bleeding after Canesten pessary
I’ve had episodes of thrush over the years all treated with tablets or pessaries. I used a Canesten pessary a couple of days ago and now have period like bleeding. Never experienced this after treatment and pretty sure it’s not a normal period bleed. Any advice on similar welcome

Ross vs Mechincal valve
My son is going to be 21 in January and is on the list for his 4th open heart surgery. His last one was in 2013 where they performed the BROM. He has to decide between Ross or Mechincal. Both have pros and cons but and are higher risk as this will be his 4th but does he want to go Ross(15 to 20% risk

No idea what to title
I had my pregablin upped but I’m still only on 100mg a day which I’ve been told is not a lot, my own worry is having to take my other medications for my
mental
health
if I request my pregablin to be upped is it going to do anything or am I still going to be in pain?

Severe muscle pain after walking
My
mental
health
has really suffered because of this situation. I have developed a lot of anxiety, which I know can actually make the pain worse. I also have anger issues that make the pain worse when something upsets me. Unfortunately, I can't tolerate antidepressants.

Please someone reassure me that this is another IBS flare up
Unfortunately, every single flare up affects my
mental
health
and I've been in an anxious mess since Monday, barely eating and living off water and lucozade. I've had a long standing fear of IBD/Crohns, for which the doctors have tested me numerous times for.

Rectal fissure - healed!
I'm not sure if this is the correct group to post in as I do not have IBS, however for 10+ years, I had a rectal fissure that just wouldn’t go away. I live in the Caribbean, have a healthy lifestyle and diet. Years ago, when first diagnosed with the fissure, I was prescribed Lidoprocto suppositories

Antibiotics and dentist
Morning. This old chestnut again I'm afraid. I spoke to my sister yesterday evening. She has had aortic valve replacement. She said her dental hygienist refused to carry out a clean without prophylactic antibiotic cover. NICE guidelines have changed. Her dentist was not so sure. Long

Issues with cervical spine and no diagnosis
I was told that my symptoms were most likely being caused by my poor
mental
health
and that I should go out and buy a diary, write down something I really wanted to do, and make it happen. Then when my
mental
health
improved my physical health would do. At this point, I broke down and cried.

Back/pelvis/hip pain?
A month or 2 ago, I got a new dog, he's bigger than my previous dog and he pulls on the lead. And I got stressed adapting to the change. Somewhere soon after that I picked up a bug, and the PMR "buzzing" in my shoulders, arms and calves popped back. Not really painful but aware of "the bucket" I stopped

A new life
It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while but my
mental
health
problems stopped me from having the motivation to do it. I am feeling much better recently but I’m not sure where to go I just want help figuring out how to be happy again because depression took that part of my life away from me.

BUPRENORPHINE
This is my story: I am 74 and have had RLS since I had a Cervical Fusion in 1984. I took different medications until I went into augmentation from pramipexole 3 years ago. Then all hell broke loose. For the past two years I would walk all night because I could not sit. I used my stationary bike

Barrigel and markers
This Wednesday I am scheduled to have barrigel and markers. Doctor told me to take two extra strength Tylenol an hour before the procedure as well as one Valium. Also, antibiotics. Is the one Valium enough to calm me down as I am pretty anxious about the procedure? Has anyone else who has had these?
