Having had a malignant
melanoma
treated 5 year ago, and reading that the drug increases risks for skin cancer, has anyone else any thoughts. My platelets have been around 420 to 580 for the 10 years of my ET, Currently on low dosage aspirin only.

Possible Melanoma - Freaking out!
I sent pictures to my friends, who assured me they looked fine - but the spots look JUST like acral lentiginous
melanoma
. So, after that I tried to forget about it. My parents said we would check when I got home.

Her main concern is my
melanoma
skin cancer. It is a three hour trip to go see my new dermatologist and she froze my brain in place when she asked if I wanted a referral to an oncologist. I think I grinned at her but said something lame I am sure.

She was a personal trainer who survived 8 years with meta-static
melanoma
that had spread into her brain. It mentions in one or two of her videos that the doctors were amazed at her resilience. Her positive upbeat attitude throughout her ordeal is also worthy of admiration.

A little something bright and happy
I would just like to take a few moments to share some positive things because sometimes with
melanoma
a lot of things feel dark and gloomy. I know I personally feel better when I am filled with hope and optimism for the future, so I hope it will have the same effect on others!
