I have a a reoccurrence of a melanoma for which I have been offered IV immunotherapy. There are no statistics for people with an autoimmune having immunotherapy. Has anyone with PMR had immunotherapy and if so Were you able to finish the course? What side effects did you have if any ?

Hi Everyone Just a quick follow up to my recent removal of a malignant Melanoma.

Other than melanoma my health has been very good in recent years.

On the subject of melanoma, this has not been mentioned to me even though my oncologist knows I am headed for a vacation in the Caribbean. Granted that at my age (82) I will not be sporting any bikinis, and I always avoid too much sun, it is good to know so I will be extra careful this trip.

Continued that way for 18 months until last week CLL was confirmed while doing a biopsy for a suspect mole and having a melanoma removed. So a double whammy. More surgery and tests to see if the melanoma has spread to my lymph nodes plus it looks like i have had CLL for a couple of years.
