I had my first episode of PMR in April 2014 and responded well to steroids. I had another occurrence in 2023 and after 18 months of steroids is no longer active.
I have a a reoccurrence of a melanoma for which I have been offered IV immunotherapy. There are no statistics for people with an autoimmune having immunotherapy.
Has anyone with PMR had immunotherapy and if so
Were you able to finish the course?
What side effects did you have if any ?
How severe we’re they?

Can I suggest you edit the title of your post to indicate what it is you are asking about? That is what most people see so the idea is it gives an indication as to the topic so something like "Has anyone with PMR had immunotherapy " would be far better. Miriam suggests nothing.
I have a primary immune deficiency. My default IgG levels are insufficient to combat chest and sinus infections. I have been on weekly immunotherapy for the past seven years. I subcutaneously inject 60ml of IgG by pump. I shall be doing this for the rest of my life. I am treated by the Royal Free Hospital in London. They are well aware of my PMR and Prednisolone intake. I have not experienced any problems.

Has anyone out there developed eczema out of the blue while dealing with PMR?
Has anyone had cardiac catheterization or heart surgery with GCA or PMR?
Has anyone been on steroids for PMR long term without much side effects (at what dose and for how long?)
Has anyone with pmr/gca (or both) had to see a neurologist?
