Endometriosis pain after hysterectomy and oophorectomy - Is there anything that can help or am I stuck with the pain forever?
I have had a radical hysterectomy and oophorectomy last September. I was initially put on HRT patches when I came out of surgery - I noticed that I felt better as the patch was wearing off. After a couple of weeks I ditched them altogether. At that point I was coping with the menopausal symptoms. By

Omentum
Hello, I'm having a radical hysterectomy next Thursday, including removal of my omentum. Has anyone had this operation? Does anyone know what having my omentum removed will mean to me? I'm terrified by it all, by the way, thanks. x

Anyone know anything about them? My doctor is now saying my tumour could be a fibroma, but I have no idea what a fibroma is. I'm having a radical hysterectomy on Thursday and I'm terrified.

A New Year
I haven't written anything for a while or even had time to visit this site much since October. I am almost 9 months post bacterial meningitis and I would say I am 85% recovered. When I was taken to the ER the Dr told my husband that had I come in any later I would have died. Thanks to a very savvy ER

Lung Volume Reduction Surgery (valves) - One week on.
There was a thread where someone asked if any members had used

medical
studies, opinions for and against (healthy debate) then got deleted while I was having a snooze.

Strain Reviews: Indica and Indica Dominant Cannabis for Sleep Aid and Pain Relief
Working at a medical marijuana dispensary in Denver has allowed me to see a wide variety of people, who all use cannabis for different reasons. One of the most common things patients tend to look for is a strain or two that will help them to sleep at night, either because of chronic pain or insomnia.

Cannabis hoax or cure ?
Michael Taillard, Guest Waking Times There’s still a lot of confusion across the nation about whether or not marijuana is effective for cancer patients. Odds are you’ve heard something about it but weren’t sure whether the information was reliable or definitive. So, in order to help clear things up,

I had a radical hysterectomy in Nov 2012. Within 2 days of surgery i started with discomfort in the buttock area. Initially I thought it was
due to having spent 2 days in bed without moving very much. Ten months later it is still a big problem for me. Sitting is very uncomfortable. I am taking prescribed painkillers that have little effect. I am having weekly physio appts and nothing is helping. I did see a pain specialist a few months

SURGICAL ONC SAYS I NEEDED BASELINE BODY SCAN. CHEMO ONC SAYS ONLY AT COMPLETION OF CARBO/TAXOL SIX TREATMENTS. WHEN I QUESTIONED DIFFERENCE OF OPINION CHEMO ONC SAID HE GOT SURGICAL ONC TO AGREE. NO ONE HAS MENTIONED DOING A CA 125. I HAVE UTERINE CANCER WITH A RADICAL HYSTERECTOMY DONE. FOUND CANCER
