Hysterectomy Endometriosis
Hi Ladies, I'm 36 and have been suffering with endometriosis since I was 16 years old. I have had op after op of laser treatment and finally after fighting for 4 years I have been put on the list for a radical hysterectomy. I have 1 son who is now 8, he's my miracle as I was told I could not have kids

4Kscore Predicts the Grade and Stage of PCa.
New study below. I have been pushing the 4Kscore test for so long, it might seem that I have a financial interest (I don't). Sooner or later, U.S. PCa screening will pick up again, & it will involve PSA plus markers that improve specificity. The test will eliminate most biopsies. (The ultimate test

Eating regime and Zytiga
Hi. I am starting on Zytliga tomorrow, with prednisone twice daily to counter its side effects. Meanwhile, I am already on a non-steroidal painkiller (Olfen) once daily to counter the discomfort from the growth of scar tissue from my radical prostatectomy. (I had brachytherapy in 2004, and attempted

Our local radio station has just had a discussion on it. I have bad pain in my hands due to central sensitisation (which apparently

Medical marijuana questions
Hi everyone! I just received my official med. marijuana ID (and my mom's caregiver ID) in the mail. I live in NY & it was prescribed to me for chronic pain and muscle spacticity. I'm totally naive to it and nervous to try. I'm interested in high CBD/low THC strains for Pain prevention and hybrid strains

Introducing myself
I'm Mary, age 57, newly diagnosed stage 3. I had a radical hysterectomy one month ago and only knew about the cancer after histology results last week. I will start chemo soon and know nothing about the drugs or what the experience will be like. Trying to persuade myself that these drugs are my friends

Periprostatic adipose inflammation & PCa.
New study below. It is probably well-known now that obesity is associated with poorer PCa outcome. However, it appears that visceral fat is the culprit. One can be on a 10% fat Dean Ornish type diet & be impressively lean, but high-carb diets are associated with elevated triglycerides & invisible (

Day 2 home from hospital
Hi. I just had a major Ovarian Cancer Debulking surgery. Complete radical hysterectomy appendix removed and the fatty area on my stomach. My Dr removed the bloody mass tumor and believes he got it all. I start Chemo in two weeks after the port placement. I feel waves of tears come on. Is this normal

Stage 1c clear cell
Found clear cell in ovary while pregnant in daughter. 42 years old. long story short she lost baby and had to have radical hysterectomy. Now in chemo. Anyone else had this? We were blind sighted. Seems to be a rare type. Also still has fluid behind cervicak cuff which is a concern. Back to oncologist

Hello All, I have just joined the community. I am a male, 50 with AMN. Medical Marijuana
Here in the USA we are finally legally able to use marijuana for medical purposes. The authorities have finally decided to stop burning it and make some money off of it. And help some pain sufferers. I got approved by a doctor and completed my online registration yesterday. I am allowed 5 ounces

Medical Marijuana For Lupus?
I have read many articles suggesting highly concentrated cannabis oil can be effective and alternative meds for people suffering lupus. Pain and inflammation are two commonly recognized therapeutic properties of cannabis, so its ability to treat lupus effectively is not surprising. Like this review on
