Something seems to have had a positive effect and he is positively energetic and laughing and talking and back to helping with housework, and joining in with the family. He has even got into our spa pool with me that

Does anyone struggle making big decisions
I’ve recently got a loan for a car, and I’m low key regretting it because I’m so scared about what the future holds. I’m worried that I will feel feel worse or that my mental symptoms won’t clear up. then won’t be able to work ect. The brain fog is making it difficult to think/see clearly and the depression

First taper
I was diagnosed with PMR by my GP and put on 20mg on 10 Sept 2021. This was increased to 30mg on 21 Sept as I was still in pain. Last Friday GP suggested first taper as my CRP levels had come down from 88 to 9. I decreased by 5mg to 25mg. The first two days were ok but now (Tuesday) I'm only pain free

Keto diet - two weeks in
I added berries to my breakfast from Friday as I really needed something to make it more appetising and I discovered that if I blend my coffee with a spoonful of
MCT
oil
and a bit of cream, the taste of this is starting to grow on me.

Bipolar depression
Hi I’m new on here. On looking at everyone’s posts I wonder if anybody has such severe depression as I have. I have no emotions, haven’t laughed for a year. I’ve had ECT which gave me relief for a few weeks. I spend most of the day in bed and I’m barely functioning. Thinking of asking my p.doc for

Should my GP take my fungal nail infection more seriously ?
Hi all, I have a fungal infection under every single one of my fingernails. My nails are discoloured and virtually falling off. I have been to see the GP who sent off some scrapings for testing. The results were ‘inconclusive but probably a fungal infection - more testing required ‘!) I’ve called my

Please Advice
Because of spine injury that occurred 35 years ago, my Dexa Scan indicates that (the spine) L2 is 3.2, L3 is 3.1, L4 is 3.6. My Endocrinologist has prescribed Prolia and am reminded to take this drug each time I visit him. I have hesitated taking this for many years and recently started an exercise
