Breast cancer, radiotherapy and fibromyalgia
Yesterday it was confirmed that I have breast cancer and need a
mastectomy
which will be done on the 13th May. However, the doctors are not too sure about how the radiotherapy that will follow will react with my fibromyalgia. Please can anyone tell me about their experience of this. Thank you.

The latest lap in March 15 the surgeon told me he had removed endo from my pelvic wall and some ligaments. I went to a&e yesterday as the pressure felt like

After reading the post by Steve101 on this subject a month ago, I was so intrigued that I decided to seek a medical opinion. Like many people who have had an oesophagectomy, I sometimes suffer from fatigue and a general lack of energy. I forwarded the post to the Chairman of our local Upper GI Network

Hand and arm swelling
After a
mastectomy
and lymph node removal in June 2014 I've developed lymphoedema in my hand and arm. I finished radio therapy at the end of nov 2014. My Lymphoedema nurse has prescribed garments which I wear religiously. She has told me that we now need to give things three months to settle down.

arm pain after breast surgery and radiation
I had a
mastectomy
with lymph node clearance 9 months ago followed by chemotherapy and radiation. I now have lymphoedema in my arm. I finished radiation 4 weeks ago. The pain in my arm is getting worse with last night a shooting pain in my thumb joint. I needed to take pain killers.

I have had a
mastectomy
on the other arm of my body, sorry really I mean I had all the lymph nodes removed and so was told to steer clear of having BP's etc taken from that arm but until the Portacath is fitted I think I shall opt for my next chemo cannula to get inserted into the 'bad' arm, Any advice

Truncal and Breast Lymphedema following 2 surgeries and radiotherapy
No professional seems to be able to help ( some mention liposuction, my first surgeon thinks the only way is a
mastectomy
), has anyone tried the pentoxifylline-vitamin E combination to rid of radiation fibrosis?
