I'm new to the diagnosis, and to posts
Had a double
mastectomy
and chemo. Currently diagnosed with Stage 4 liver, had a Lupron shot, and started Ibrance and Letrozole 2 days ago. Heard so many side effects are possible, but desperately want to believe I can avoid them all. When would these potential side effects kick in???

Finished with all surgeries, finally!!!
I finally had my care transferred to the University of Iowa Hospital and after a lot of review of my case the decision was to have unilateral
mastectomy
due to "radiation effect" (healthy breast tissue had been badly damaged by the aggressive radiation.

Anastrozole
I’ve recently been diagnosed with lobular carcinoma and am having a double
mastectomy
on Thursday. Last week was my first visit with an Oncologist. I started taking anastrozole on Wednesday. Today I feel like I’m coming down with a cold. Is this a side effect from the medication?

Hi everyone, I had a single

Lymphodena / MLD / Factor V Leiden
Wondered if anyone knows if MLD is ok with Factor V, I recently had four sessions five months after
mastectomy
- I have arm and trunk swellings but ankle and leg have now swollen as well after the MLD and I had 10 days of extreme pain under scar which is thankfully subsiding.

I took this photo this morning after breakfast of my skin on my arms and hands. I also have these bruised and torn skin areas on my face, neck, and chest. My Mastectomy Tattoos
Hi- Am getting chest tattoo w/ birds, butterflies, flowers. (My implants were removed, so I'm living flat now.) I want to add a saying as well. Which of these sound better? Thanks for your input! "My breasts do not define me as a woman." Or "My beauty is not defined by my breasts." -Seena
