FODMAP Advice/ Fructose Malabsorption
I have been on low fodmap diet for ten days so far (five weeks to go) for fructose
malabsorption
, and my symptoms have been far worse and more frequent (almost constant) since starting the diet. Has anyone found that their symptoms got worse with low fodmaps?

BMJ Best Practice website advice on B12 deficiency
While treatment remains the same, vitamin B12 deficiency can lead the astute clinician to discover an underlying
malabsorption
process such as coeliac disease or Crohn's disease.

Please help - hypo, RT3, malabsorption, distention, high testosterone. Euthroid sick? Interpretation and direction desperately sought.
Hi All, I'm new so apologies if I'm asking terribly pedestrian questions. I am suffering with all classic hypo symptoms including fatigue, weight gain (that not even the LVCDs change at all now), insomnia, brittle nails, coarse hair/hair loss/, puffy face (puffy everything actually, it basically feels

Gastric bypass and now Hashimoto's
Hello, I am a gastric bypass patient (about 10 years) with very good success except for some
malabsorption
issues from time to time. Now I am suddenly diagnosed with Hashimotos disease and wondering if anyone else who is post-bypass has this issue?

Neuropathy & Vitamin B12/complex help
I am pretty sure I have
malabsorption
issues but so confused with: Cyanaco vs Methyl, what foods & juices get or don't get absorbed & in what form or shape, masking problems, B12 serum results vs true cell counts, injections (with Amino acids) etc etc etc ...

Lab Results: 16 Year Old With Multiple Red Flags
I do wonder if there is some other gene going around here that affects the digestive system, leading to
malabsorption
and that effects the thyroid. Really a chicken or egg game here.

Sudden daze like Feeling of detachment with emotional flatness
For a while I struggled with carbohydrate
malabsorption
, cutting out gluten containing food stuffs seemed to help greatly but I've progressively felt more and more run down. My father suffered with hyperthyroidism (before I was born) .. beyond that I don't know much about thyroid disorders.

When the gut is inflamed do you ever experience carbohydrate
malabsorption
? Say for example you eat something that would ordinarily provoke a blood glucose spike shortly after but instead glucose levels are conspicuously unchanged or perhaps even figuratively "nose diving"?

B12 Deficiency
I am concerned that this would indicate some kind of
malabsorption
. My questions are- - is oral supplementation effective of should I be offered injections? - Would supplementing b12 affect the accuracy of a pernicious anaemia test (or are these unrelated)? Thanks in advance
