Myelofibrosis- GVHD graft, versus, host, disease.
Hi, thanks for accepting me onto your site. My name is Gary, I am 64 years old and was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis in July, 2024. It all started when I began to feel lethargic and very tired, I had no inspiration to do anything. I was a taxi driver and was only managing to work one or two days a week

Travel insurance
I am finally in a position to go abroad after 18 since my diagnosis. I’m halfway through my chemo after a reoccurrence. Can anyone recommend a good insurance company?

PSA Rising and Falling during Chemo
I have been receiving chemotherapy since November 2023. Started with Docetaxel until it failed after 7 cycles. Switched to Cabazitaxel and currently on the 5th cycle. Since starting the Cabazitaxil my PSA has been raising and lowering. I am currently having some scans done to confirm if there is progression

Advice on cough
Hey everyone, hope we are all keeping safe and doing good. I have posted before about my mum who is fighting lung cancer. In short, she has only had three chemo 's and now being referred for radiotherapy, as tumour has significantly shrunk. Good news. The chemo has knocked her for six. Her immune system

Cancer Cell Blood Test
My oncologist has suggested I get the cancer cell blood test done. Has anyone had this test? What were the results? I have had severe side effects on all chemo and cancer drugs and my Oncologist has recommended it.

Ascites issues
I have recently been diagnosed with stage 4b womb cancer spread to ovaries and abdomen. My worst symptoms have come from ascites. I have had 2 chemo cycles and was really hoping that it would dry up by now. I have had 2 drains and although it is in no way accumulatiling like it was, my concern is that

Just a quick question.
Hi everyone and thanks for all your help so far. As the chemo has now stopped working for Martin we are looking for any other options that might be available to give him more time. His MO has organised a liquid biopsy to see if there are any mutations that could be treated, which might help. We

To Bone marrow biopsy or not to bone marrow biopsy that is the question.
Hi everyone, I’m not sure if this is the right forum. Previously it was thought I had pernicious anaemia (I’m in that forum too) but then they weren’t sure. I am on B12 injections (3 monthly but my levels of that are good at moment). I was referred to Haematologist last year due to low white blood cells

Dad's PSA now 1800..nothing works..Is this the end??
Hey all, It pains me to write this as I'm probably scared to hear the truth. I've posted a few times, but this time, it's different. Dad was in hospital for a spinal cord compression - new activity on c3, new mets to spine and PSA soaring to 1800. Those dreaded words, "all options have been exhausted

Sclerosis due to cancer or treatment?
I recently developed sclerosis in my left hip area...painful to sit on a hard surface. PSMA tech wrote 'sclerosis developed consistent with treatment'. Oncologist seems unconcerned. I've read that sclerosis can sometime happen when ADT reduces tumor size, which means the bone has to adjust. The recent
