When will I be smarter?
I have always thought about how some people are so good with excuses and getting away from problem. I remember there was one month compulsory college attendance for us because elite professor from another university was going to teach us a course . So our college demanded strict 100 percentage attendance

How many treatments of Chemo can the body handle
I have had 7 cycles of docetaxel and 3 of cabazitaxel. The oncologist wants to continue with another 7 cycles of cabazitaxel. My question is how much of this poison can the body handle. Does this chemo destroy things permanently in the body. I know that the fatigue is taking over. I couldn't run

I have so missed taking the time to post and read posts from the group. Even today I should be doing 'thank you' notes. My Cancer Journey Repost
It's time for a repost of my two-part cancer journey diary. Some "starting the journey readers" might find it helpful. Originally posted as two Health Unlocked "replies" - maybe I should make them an actual full "post". So I am pleased to report that
other than fatigue, I feel sort of normal right

Looking for options after Verzenio.
Spoke with my onc today and she said if Verzenio fails she’s thinking about Afinitor. Said I’m running out of options and IV chemo might not be far off after that. I’ve been on Faslodex, Anastrozole, Ibrance and Verzenio is my 3rd line of treatment. No mutations. I feel like there are many more options

Cataract surgery
I often read the experiences on CLL shared by our group on HealthUnlocked, and it's reassuring. I was diagnosed with CLL in 2013. After a long period of watch and wait (W&W), I was given only 2 cycles of chemo (BR) in 2019 instead of the planned 6 cycles due to severe side effects. Fortunately, I experienced

Disappointed
After Lupron, NUBEQA and Zytega … and a recent FDG Cat scan Several nodes lit up in the periodonal aorta area of his abdomen. Being totally right up against the aorta, a decision was made to remove them robotically. Surgery went well. All lymph’s were removed that lit up on the scan. docs felt PSA
