Question about possible bone mets in spine - so worried
I wrote here in June about having a recurrence after being 6 years in remission. My CA-125 was close to 6000 and I had extensive disease to the peritoneum. I am also BRAC2 positive. I have done 5 sessions of platinum-based chemo and my CA-125 went from close to 6000 to 60 (result after the 4th session

Feeling sick - too warm and lightheaded
About an hour ago I just all of a sudden got lightheaded and warm. I haven't had a panic attack in several years, I take herbal supplements to prevent them but I forgot to take one all day Friday. So this could be a really bad panic attack but I also didn't eat, was going to make something but maybe

Hi all, I posted on here little while ago about my mum having total abdo hysterectomy for ovarian cancer. We are now 3 weeks on from surgery. a 10cm cyst was removed which at the time, they assumed it was cancer. We went to her results and biopsy results yesterday. We were all extremely shocked

Masofaniten +Enzalutamide This could be a game changer...Science is coming to our aid
This is a company that I was turned on to by Nalkrantz before he was removed from this board. He told me that he was in touch with a doctor that was involved with this drug. Reportedly the early testing on a single patient had been phenomenal. These are pretty amazing #s NEWS PROVIDED BY ESSA

Being Told You Have Osteo .... But Cancer...
Being told I have osteo makes me fear life and old age. It is devastating to say the least. But let me tell you this... being told I have cervical cancer and I am just beginning my fight never made me feel more alive. All the "stuff" just falls away and the value of life never so strong. I am now

Working while receiving Docetaxel
Does anyone have experience in working while receiving Docetaxel? Also, what was your experience with hair loss, fatigue etc.? Any long term survivors after doing this treatment? Thanks, trying to get some answers because pretty anxious at this point when chemo may be my next best option.

Delay starting hydrea for vaccines?
Unfortunately, this question came to me after I saw the doctor. A month ago, I was referred to a hematologist for abdominal pain, abnormal CBC and splenomegaly. This week, after finding JAK2 and a confirmatory bone marrow analysis, the doctor prescribed 500mg HU per day for PV and scheduled a return

PSA raise
Hello once again. My father completed 6 courses of docetaxel chemotherapy (last one on 23/05/2023) and he is getting Zoladex injections every 3 months. Last PSA result was 0.89 (14/07/2023). But as he was getting better and the effects of chemotherapy (mainly neuropathy) were subsiding, the PSA test

Milk thistle: it gives me headache (figuratively)
Hi warriors! Since I am doing chemo and chemo impacts on the liver (not only of course), I thought it would be a good idea to help my liver with Milk thistle extract (silymarin), once per day 240mg. I had two chemo sessions and luckily between the two sessions both my white cells count and liver functionalities

A fib Triggers
My husband has paroxysmal A fib. This started after cardiac damage from chemo 4 years ago. He has had 2 ablations, 2 cardioversion and a pharmacy of meds. He is only 62. He went 5 weeks without AFib. Was feeling good. Boom! Tachycardia. Question. We keep trying to find triggers. Only thing

went off Xgeva for a year, have to go back on it. Ideas or tips helpful
Hi, the short version is I’ve been dealing w stage 4 MBC since 2019/ 2020 with mets to the bones since 2020, including a thoracic spinal fracture which led to a spinal fusion. I was put on Xgeva for a couple of years and later read on Xgeva’s website that being on it long term is likely to increase

Update
Just got my blood test results: Testo less 0.1 ng/ML and PSA still undetectable. Tomorrow I’ll receive my next 3-month Lupron shot, which will finalize my 24-month ADT after prostate bed and whole pelvic radiation. In the meantime I also had lymphoma and received four R-CHOP chemo cycles, two cycles

Long time reader / first time poster…
Hello all, Been on here for quite some time reading about other men’s stories but have yet to get in the trenches until now. Not sure why; maybe just reluctance to accept my situation, even though my “situation” has fully accepted me. It’s been a bumpy road. PSA 12.5 at diagnosis 11/2019. Been checking
