STAGE 1C1 Grade 2
Hello all Hope everyone is doing ok. I am new here. I found out end of August that I had a 17cm cyst on my left ovary. The MRI did not determine if the cyst was malignant or benign. My gynae-oncologist arranged for emergency surgery on the 6th September but during surgery it burst. I had my left

Docetaxel only partially successful
I had a full body MRI scan this week at Royal Marsden in London. The purpose was to assess the effectiveness of docetaxel after 3 infusions. The results have been very disappointing, and I'm struggling to keep a sense of perspective - not least because I was feeling so good, and had seen all of my previous

Thank you for all of your replies. My husband is now being very supportive and we had a good talk. I was so nervous on Tuesday when I went to get my blood test. My husband has been been incredibly supportive. My CA-125 is now down to 34 which is the normal range in my country. I did my 6th chemo session

Is my cancer castrate resistant?
Since detection of abdominal and pelvic mesastasis by PSMA scan in October 2018, intermittant Lupron was very effective in keeping my cancer under control until July 2022. From July 2022 until now I have been on continuous Lupron because PSA refused to become undetectable. From July 2022 until August

Pluvicto Failed - Next step
Hello Warriors: Pluvicto has failed. I went through four sessions and had severe side effects of exhaustion and GI problems as well as it seemed to stimulate my foot neuropathy. My PSA went down during injection 2 and 3 but then came back up in 4. Disappointing... I just met my new MO at the Mayo

Antisapatory nausea
Hello! I am pretty sure I spelled antisapatory wrong. I am on Trodelvy. The first 2 months were very rough. I had nausea and fatigue. All the nausea meds made me sicker. I think my body adjusted and between Ativan and scopolimine patch it definitely got better. Unfortunately I have started

Cavernous Tumor & Rising PSA
My husband had triple therapy with docetaxel (finished chemo in January), darolutimide, and Firmagon/Lupron. Recently he developed what seemed like a sinus infection but was really a tumor in his sinus cavity and behind his eye socket wrapped around his carotid arteries on the plate of his skull (

Clinical Trial with Abemaciclib and Olaparib
I had a total abdominal hysterectomy in addition to
chemotherapy
with Taxol/Carboplatin, then Zegula for
maintenance
. My CA125 dropped down to 11, but 4 months later at my checkup, that number shot up. Legions were found at the back end of my colon, on my liver, and on my psoas muscle.

debulking op
Hi all. Further update (I have posted this on my earlier thread, so please forgive duplicate. I wasn’t sure if it could be seen, so I’ve started agsin) I have my operation date on 10th Nov. CF can’t do op until 24th. Op is supposed to be performed within 6weeks of last chemo,so that would be 9 weeks

Next steps after cabazitaxel
Hello again - I've completed six chemo treatments with cabazitaxel alone. PSA has fallen from 83 in early July at the start to 5.1 a couple of weeks ago (after five treatments). I live in Nicosia, Cyprus, and am being treated here but I'm also a Mayo patient of Drs. Kwon and Orme. They have identified
