What about stiffness
I think some of you already know that mom has contractures post her accident and cant move much. Recently her PT said - get her some muscle relaxant and omg what a difference. But i cant give it everyday. Please advise what folks are doing for stiffness and muscular issues please. She does get a massage

Crash after Covid?
I’m really struggling to balance my body back out after having Covid and so so puzzled. Not sure why this has happened or where to go with it next. Has anyone had a really bad crash after Covid? I’m diagnosed pernicious anaemia and hypothyroid Hashimotos. I had been in the same routine with supplements

Fatigue has reached a whole other level, after 10.5 years. Scared it’s narcolepsy….
Hello everyone I hope this finds you all as well as you can be. I’m 10.5 years post diagnosis now. Thought I largely had this disease under control. With meds and pacing and life style etc. But my fatigue has been extremely difficult for the last 2 years and recently I’m worried it’s getting more

New to this group! I am GoodWalkerme.
I am a 66 year old female, who was diagnosed with osteoporosis in October 2023 following a DEXA scan. I sustained an intra-articular radial fracture of my wrist in September2023, followed by a re-fracture of the same wrist and a new fracture of the radial head in December 2023. I am not on any medications

Starting levothyroxine- which brand?
Hi, I have been asked by the end to start on 75mcg Levothyroxine today. I am gluten free and have reactive hypoglycaemia so avoid sugar/ carbs; is there a particular brand of Levothyroxine that might be good for me? I also take a bunch of supplements; Vit D, B complex, selenium, magnesium, iron;

Thyroid Test Results
As a result of my GP pressurising me to reduce Levothyroxine intake I have had tests carried out privately. My weight justifies the dosage of 200mcg daily that is currently prescribed. (1.6mcg/kg) However this dosage results in incredibly low TSH levels. My GP seeks to raise TSH levels. Results are

Test results. Can you advise please.
After great advice on this forum regarding my thyroid nodules, I requested from my GP surgery the same tests as are provided in the Blue Horizon Golden Thyroid Test. The clinician seemed to want to help and I thought almost everything would be tested. However, these are my results and, as is clear

Help, GP appointment tomorrow still can't get them to listen.
So the saga continues, Sneaky GP has refused to reinstate 150mcg daily since reducing it to 150mcg eod in November when TSH 0.01 , 0.27- 4.2, FT4 21.6 12-22, .my HbA1c went up to 54 Vit D 125 , Endo recently said this level was dangerously toxic thought the range BH anyway of 75-200 was optimal

what is it this time?
Ok, so I’ve been SI for just under a month, moving from twice weekly to about EOD following symptoms response. I was initially taking 3mg folic acid each morning with food along with magnesium at night. Two days ago I bought a new brand of folic and increased my dosage to 5mg (following recommendations

Plagued by nocturnal ectopics.
For the last eight or nine days I’ve had more ectopics than usual, often at night when lying on my back or right side, but also during the day. Sometimes the pulse feels very weak, almost imperceptible. Sometimes the ectopics are very persistent, occurring every four or five beats. It’s possible

What does reducing look like for a person with no adrenal function?
I have just had an awful couple of days trying to reduce. I was at 3 and reduced one quarter one day. 4 days later I started having anxiety which magnesium capsules helped (I am seeing a wellness nurse practitioner) The next week I decreased a quarter 2.75 on the same day. Both on Mondays. Four days

Feeling desperate
I'm feeling very low at the moment, and quite isolated. I'm hoping to get some advice here. I'm a 45 year old male, and have had Hashimoto's since my early 20s. After a terrible few years on thyroxin I found NDT and on the whole have been relatively well on it. However, since around 2019 I've had bouts
