Sliding down this bumpy hill
I would be interested to hear how others are managing the loss of some mental capacities while using up to 120 mg slow acting morphine, 60 mg of quick-acting morphine, 225 mg
Lyrica
, and a whole bunch of Brufen daily.

Coming down on Lyrica
Hi I am currently trying to get off
Lyrica
. About 2 months ago I went up to 280mg 3 times a day. It worked for a couple of weeks and then it stopped working. I have currently reduced by 75mg and I have severe pain in my butt and back of thighs. For me this pain isn't unusual it's just worse.

Made it through the "holiday" (many thanks for your support) - what now?
Once I made it through the holiday period, the neurologist first recommended Horizant, but my insurance would not cover, so we moved onto
Lyrica
(pregabalin), which was covered. We started at 75 mg, worked up to 300 mg over a two week period before it started working for me.

Weaning off Pramipexrole
My gp put me on 225mg of
Lyrica
. Which helps. But I have some nights that bring back a lot of old memories. These were instructions I received from the neurologist at the Mayo Clinic. She was so helpful and new exactly what I was going through with the augmentation.

Why The F...
Why the f*** aren’t GP’s prescribing
Lyrica
for anxiety? Oh, I know why, it costs too much. Seriously though, I’m new here and I’m horrified at the amount of folk suffering from anxiety when there is help. Do all you can to get your GP to prescribe

I am already on prednisone, methotrexate and plaquenil for ra,
lyrica
and amitriptyline for Crps and now antibiotics for shingles. Also endone temporarily for the shingles pain. Appreciate anything at all. Makes it easier when u know others going thru similar things. Hope you have a restful night.

How long does nerve pain last?
Tried Gabapentin unsuccessfully and then
Lyrica
. After about 3 months of
Lyrica
, which really helped, I had to stop due to side effects. The nerve pain is not as bad as before the
Lyrica
but still very very uncomfortable and depressing at times.

Cancer good, legs bad
As his legs continued to bother him, he added
Lyrica
to the drug regime. He also had some spot radiation on one leg. Neither of these seemed to help. Ten months into this journey, his cancer numbers are EXCELLENT. PSA and testosterone barely detectable, alka phos within normal range.

RLS relief at last!!
He had developed neuropathy in upper extremities, so our PA decided to treat it with
Lyrica
. After a couple of weeks on it, I noticed he wasn't kicking all night. It has helped the neuropathy for which it was prescribed, but the RLS symptoms have vanished. It has been several months now and no RLS!

Does anyone take this drug @ 150 mg per day. just started it and I’d be interested to know if you sleep better. My problem is a pounding heart when I go to bed which means I don’t sleep well.
