However he was put on
Lynparza
. Can anyone share your experience with this drug as far as side effects and if it works pretty well? The Zytiga stopped working after only 5 months of being on it. 😩😩💔

Appetite
I'm wondering if my appetite will ever get back to normal or did the
Lynparza
mess it up for good. I've been off

for 3 months now.

First major pathological fracture
We’ve done Docetaxel (3 rounds, stopped due to pulmonary edema and PCP pneumonia), Zytiga, Xtandi, Xofigo, and
Lynparza
. Dr would like him to try Cabazitaxel but husband is not sure given his bad experience with Docetaxel. Dr also considering provenge.

4-th stage ovarian cancer update - GOOD NEWS!
Currently she's on Olaparib/
Lynparza
(she's been taking it for 9 months) . Earlier this month she had a PET scan and today we got the results - she's clear! Her CA125 are down to 9 (they were around 4000 when she was firstly diagnosed).

Anyone taking Lynparza?
He has recently started on
Lynparza
. Would like to speak to others on the medication. I’m trying to determine if the side effects get any better. It’s been a rough couple weeks.

Olaparib
Is Niraparib the same as Olaparib (
Lynparza
) one is a brand name. This is an AstraZeneca made drug??? I am on Olaparib. It sounds very much the same as my blood count dropped all the time. I’ve been on it since the end October 2020.

Update-OptumRx is covering Lynparza in 2021
Was told that the letter I recently received, stating
Lynparza
would no longer be covered, was a mistake. It is covered. Just don't need extra stress like this one has caused unnecessarily.

Lynparza - any advice?
Hello All, I am now on a maitenance drug called
Lynparza
. I started taking it and the side effect I am experiencing is nausea. I don't want to live on ondansetron. Anyone else successful with other avenues? Switched to another blocker? I'm open to conversations.

Good news from ~Anwen Jones today!!
For the first time two ovarian cancer drugs, olaparib (
Lynparza
®) and bevacizumab (Avastin®), are now available in combination. This is an exciting step forward in personalised treatments and comes hot on the heels of the announcement about niraparib in January.

Optum Rx no longer covers Lynparza as of Jan 1 2021
Got a letter yesterday that Optum Rx, my Medicare prescription plan, will no longer cover my
Lynparza
med. Have been on it for almost 2 years with no out of pocket costs, and has been very effective in controlling my PSA.

Lung Ground Glass Opacities
She’s BRCA positive so
Lynparza
will probably be our next step before Piqray (which seems to have much worse side effects). Has anyone had similar experiences with ground glass opacities in their lungs, and if so were they confirmed to be metastatic spread?
