Lynparza

I'm wondering if my appetite will ever get back to normal or did the Lynparza mess it up for good. I've been off Lynparza for 3 months now.

We’ve done Docetaxel (3 rounds, stopped due to pulmonary edema and PCP pneumonia), Zytiga, Xtandi, Xofigo, and Lynparza . Dr would like him to try Cabazitaxel but husband is not sure given his bad experience with Docetaxel. Dr also considering provenge.

Currently she's on Olaparib/Lynparza (she's been taking it for 9 months) . Earlier this month she had a PET scan and today we got the results - she's clear! Her CA125 are down to 9 (they were around 4000 when she was firstly diagnosed).

Just reading some of yr posts, my thoughts and great big virtual hugs go out to you all 💞 I am post AOC ops(I had 2 ops in a week, the 2nd to sort out my bowel) by about 5 months, 6 chemo cycles and have started on Lapiribs, Lynparza. All successful!

Has anyone experienced hair loss and or slow hair growth while on Lynparza maintenance treatment?

He has recently started on Lynparza. Would like to speak to others on the medication. I’m trying to determine if the side effects get any better. It’s been a rough couple weeks.

(Have Braca 2 gene, and last med -- Lynparza -- lost its effectiveness. ) What is recommended, after quitting most all meds except a couple for my heart? Denosumab (Prolia)? Alendronate (Fosamax)? Tanezumab? Straight oxycodone? ... Thanks for your suggestions.

Is Niraparib the same as Olaparib (Lynparza) one is a brand name. This is an AstraZeneca made drug??? I am on Olaparib. It sounds very much the same as my blood count dropped all the time. I’ve been on it since the end October 2020.

Was told that the letter I recently received, stating Lynparza would no longer be covered, was a mistake. It is covered. Just don't need extra stress like this one has caused unnecessarily.

Hello All, I am now on a maitenance drug called Lynparza. I started taking it and the side effect I am experiencing is nausea. I don't want to live on ondansetron. Anyone else successful with other avenues? Switched to another blocker? I'm open to conversations.

Presuming I should remain on 150 mg x 2 of Lynparza -- not more, not less??

Got a letter yesterday that Optum Rx, my Medicare prescription plan, will no longer cover my Lynparza med. Have been on it for almost 2 years with no out of pocket costs, and has been very effective in controlling my PSA.

She’s BRCA positive so Lynparza will probably be our next step before Piqray (which seems to have much worse side effects). Has anyone had similar experiences with ground glass opacities in their lungs, and if so were they confirmed to be metastatic spread?

I will be starting Lynparza in January for two years. I just wanted to say thank you to all who helped me. It's hard to believe, but my husband made going through chemo fun. I wouldn't have made it as well if it were not for you ladies at the beginning of my journey.

She is BRCA2, so we are hopefull about the Lynparza, but equaly worried if the cancer is completely gone and Lynparza has the best grounds for beeing succesfull. The main problem is that her CT-scans in june did not show any cancer, and her CA125 was low despite significant cancer decease.
