Reccurence PPC - How to know if it's gone?
She is BRCA2, so we are hopefull about the

, but equaly worried if the cancer is completely gone and
Lynparza
has the best grounds for beeing succesfull. The main problem is that her CT-scans in june did not show any cancer, and her CA125 was low despite significant cancer decease.

Lynparza - side effects of everything tasting and smelling bad?
I feel so guilty that I was the one that advocated for my husband's receipt of
Lynparza
2 and 1/2 years ago only for a brief period of time. Anyone else experience no appetite and/or everything tasting/smelling bad since taking it?

Feedback wanted on docetaxel
I am presently taking a PARP inhibitor
Lynparza
(olaparib) which has kept my PSA low for 9 months. However, my last PSA jumped from .7 to 1.7 this past month, so my oncologist is recommending that I start docetaxel.

Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer Survival Stories
My mother is BRCA2 + and she started taking Olaparib/
Lynparza
after the chemotherapy. Her last CT scan was one week ago - she was clear and her CA125 were 13. She currently feels good and takes care of my little niece.

Anyone here taking Lynparza and/or Zytiga and struggling to pay for it?
Anyone here taking
Lynparza
and/or Zytiga and struggling to pay for it? Please PM me. I have 1 bottle of each that I'd hate to have to just throw away, per the advice of the hospital where it came from - simply because they cannot take it back.

Olaparib (Lynparza) adds 4.4 months to survival among men who have the BRCA mutation
An update of the PROfound trial proved the benefit in radiographic progression-free survival translated into a significant overall survival benefit too. I updated my article: https://www.prostatecancer.news/2019/10/olaparib-slows-progression-in-men-with.html https://www.nejm.org/doi/10.1056/NEJMoa2022485

Alvin - update
Thinking that his cancer med,
Lynparza
, was the true cause of his blood level problem, it was stopped on May 13th. He was given several plasma infusions. When that didn’t solve it, he was given two blood transfusions. First transfusion was Sunday, May 17th.

DART Trial
We have
Lynparza
as our last treatment option. He wants in the trial. I know the toxicity effects others have experienced with this combo in the past and the results were not promising for those with mCRPC. Mike has t-SCNC.
