Sweet!
Had 2nd of 90 days
Lupron
Feb 1-23 as adjuvant 6-month ADT therapy with my Salvage IMRT. First PSA test yesterday and T level. Undetectable (less than .006 uPSA) and T level of 30. Here's to hoping it stays down.

My story of my 23 year battle with Pca.
My urologist asked me to consider
Lupron
which I did but declined. Having arthritis of the spine, stenosis and three herniated discs I figured the sciatica that I suffered off and on for over 20 years was the cause of my pain.

Questions about protocol changes regarding ADT from 2nd opinion.
My question: is there a difference between Eligard and
Lupron
? My reading says they are for "advanced prostate cancer." I'm not sure what that means. My cancer is still contained in the prostate it seems (a pet scan next week will determine if that's true).

Eligard Injection in Arm?!
I looked up that
Lupron
is given intramuscularly but Eligard is subcutaneous, just an under the skin…. which makes the abdomen make more sense. Has anyone else ever had an Eligard injection in the arm? I’m so concerned.

PSA after one month on lupron
Is 11.2 a concerning PSA after one month on
Lupron
? It does show a drop but I was expecting to see a number much lower and of course I worry this could indicate activity outside the prostate. Thanks for any insights you may have.

advice for docetaxel
I have been on
Lupron
since the beginning, I had radiation to my prostate and my bone Mets within the first six months of diagnosis. I have since had about three more radiation treatments of new spots that have shown up on my bones. I took zytiga, and then Xtandi for about three years.

QOL - Fun, Enjoyable, and Happy
Reached Stage 4 last year; with current meds
Lupron
and Xtandi. So blessed that, so far, I have been able to stay active in spite of some meds' side effects. Fun: Pickleball, where I've made many friends while laughing and competing.

Here we go.......
One percent of my adult life……Going with Orgovyx over
Lupron
as it avoids the testosterone spike, reached castration level suppression much faster, has less cardiac toxicity and testosterone levels return much more quickly at the termination of therapy.

Tuff Nutt gets his butt kicked, has tuff day, almost ready for happy pill
Must have had a
Lupron
moment as we couldn’t find them in the cabinet, ready to go to ER it hurt so bad. Oh gosh, this kind of pain I could not wish on my worst enemy. Finally found them , an hour later it subsided.

biclutamide without lupron?
Urologist want to start biclutamide and
lupron
now. I am concerned about side effects. Read some older studies 2017-2019 saying biclutamide as a monotherapy was a good option. Any opinions out there? Thanks Pj

Need help in understanding PSA level recurrence after treatment.
In May 2023 I completed what the doctor hope would be a curative treatment of 38 sessions of radiotherapy accompanied by 2.25 years on
Lupron
+ Zytiga. During that treatment, my PSA fell to < 0.01 and remained there until the end of the treatment.

What a long strange road it's been.
They were all scratching their heads over that and also had no idea why it created a liquid filled cyst the size of a mango. ( I saw the video of cutting into it and liquid spilling out all over. ) They added Xtandi (enzalutamide) to the ADT regimen, as the
