Severe heartburn after lobectomy
Hello,2/14/23 I had a lower rt
lung
lobectomy
. Since that time I have horrific heartburn. Not just a little but debilitating. Has anyone else experienced this? I have had an endoscopy done and the dr reports that he can see no reason for my symptoms.

Diagnosed 5 months post Operation with Fluid on the lung. Is this normal & will it clear up? Should I be concerned?
I'd a lower left
lung
lobectomy
last November and recently had my follow up appointment which will be annually from now on. I was told by the registrar not the consultant that I'd fluid on my lung. I wasn't told anything more than that & what this entails.

loss of appetite after lobectomy
15 days since my operation. I feel very tired think one reason difficulty sleeping and loss of appetite. Just thought I’d asked if anyone has any tips about how to get my appetite back ? Will it just return ? I’m not doing much exercise other than walking around the house, starting to have a walk around

I have now been told that I have PTSD! Why?
I had biopsies etc. and a
Lobectomy
for Adenocarcinoma tumour in my right
lung
and have been left a wreck on Oramorph every day and Fentanyl patches and now have RLS which is a nightmare! I saw a Physio last week who told me that I had PTSD because I got upset about the misdiagnosis.

recurrence after lobectomy
Hello, I am 53 and live in the UK and I stop smoking in my late 20’. I had a lobectomy of my right lower lobe in April 2022 to remove a minimally invasive adenocarcinoma staged pT1 N0, M0, PL0, R0 (found by complete accident on an abdomen CT scan.) I begged for adjuvant therapy after the operation

Have found out some info about my medical history
So put in a SAR to see if I could find out anything about my past treatment. My Gp records have Lobectomy listed in my records but surgeon told me he had to remove everything and couldn't save any tissue. This was January 1995. Have got back some records from that time, still sifting through but

Lobectomy for bronchiectasis
Hi,I was wondering if anyone has had a lobectomy for bronchiectasis and were cured or at least felt a lot better? I had an open lobectomy on 1st September but that was because there was a 5cm mass in my right lower lobe and I had been coughing up blood in my sputum since December 25th 2022. From September

Had a small upper lobe segment removal 10/18 stage 1a (R lower lobectomy and R upper lobe wedge 2018). No treatment at the time and no treatment recommended once again. However, did meet with Thoracic onc last week to discuss how this pathogoly compared to initial one 5 years ago and thoughts on chances

Help with Medicheck results
I have been on 75mcg for a number of years since having a lobectomy and isthmusectomy in 2015. This was reduced from 100mcg in 2019 following TFT (TSH 0.02) even though I felt well on this dose. I have been feeling very fatigued and achy for a while and had a blood test by the GP in January 2023 for

Recurrence rate data
I am trying to find some data on recurrence rates specifically after you have had one! 2 Stage 1 adenomocarcoma surgically removed 2018 with no other treatmetn (rll lobectoby and r ul wedge) - stage 1 resection 10/18/23 with r upper lobe partial lobectomy. Once you have a recurrence what are the stats

Recurrence!
Been a bumpy year (5 1/2 years ago R lower lobectomy stage 1 R upper lobe wedge stage 1) .....(see below for recent details) but wondering for those who had recurrences when did they occur and how were they managed? Did you have others since? My surgeon did frozen sample in OR and detected no cancer

persistent pneumothorax
I finally had my procedure last Wednesday due to uncertain recent pet /ct changes ( had r lower lobe lobectomy and r upper wedge 5 1/2 years ago) at the scar site of upper. Bronch was completed with insignificant findings but Tumor board recommended to go in for surgery. Great news following surgery

No support for Dipipanone and Cyclizine withdrawal.
I have Diverticulitis, adhesions, have had
lung
cancer and a
Lobectomy
, a 10cm sliding hiatus hernia ++. Pain just now is unbearable and I'm into my 5th week of Dipipanone withdrawal and my leg's still feel tight but the RLS has calmed down a bit since stopping the 60 mg Duloxetine.
